Dewalt 18V Multi Tool Cordless Kit with 5.0Ah Battery $256 Delivered ($0 C&C/in-Store) @ Bunnings

110

I think it is a better deal than the Amazon grey import DCS355N of
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/868151 & https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/853676
as it has Australian warranty, and is a kit with charger / batteries / bag. It is also the newer model with 3 speeds, and vibration reduction. Downside is the limited accessories it comes with.

Same price for Powerpass users, but don't forget Flybuys / Onepass. I can't seem to find the kit anywhere else, so it looks like a Bunnings exclusive. It was $299 last week, but $256 might be the new price.

Powered by an 18V XR battery and delivering up to 20,000opm, the oscillating multi-tool can perform an outstanding variety of cutting and sanding applications. The new 3 speed selector provides the ultimate speed and application control. Universal Accessory Adapter for use with most oscillating tool accessory brands.
Bright LED light illuminates dark work surfaces for accurate cutting.
DUAL-GRIP Variable Speed Trigger provides the ultimate speed and application control.
QUICK-CHANGE Accessory System allows blades and attachments to be changed quickly without the use of tools.

Kit Includes:
DCS356
DCB184 (18v XR 5ah battery)
Multi-Voltage Charger
Small Contractor Bag
9 x “Extreme” abrasive mesh sanding sheets

  • What's the normal price at bunnings?

    • $299 according to op

      • I should have read his comments before asking.

        • Haha. It would be tempting if I didn’t already have Ryobi and Ozito and a still-boxed Ozito multi tool skin.

  • I am tossing up between this and the AEG Brushless Multi Tool. I am in both the Dewalt and AEG ecosystem. They both seem to be great. Would appreciate any advice. Can get the AEG Multi Tool Skin for around $189 off ebay, but it then it does not come with a fresh new 5.0ah battery like the Dewalt.

I own both the Dewalt multitool and the corded AEG multi tool so its not a direct comparison but i much prefer the Dewalt. Quieter and cuts better. Also the dewalt blade change style is a lot easier imo.

Got this exact kit for $140 about 6 months ago from a Bunnings store clearing out promo stock. Not useful information for anyone here AT ALL, I just wanted to brag.

      Well done!

  • Shows as $299 for me.

    • My local Bunnings store still scanned $256.
The price tag says 13/10, not sure whether it's the start or end date

Hmm webpage was definitely $256 yesterday but $299 today.

Bunnings box hill also had 13/10 on the orange tag yesterday.

It is still showing at $256 on Power pass so maybe this is the new trade price.

  • Looks like it’s back at $256

    • Thanks for the tip!
