Moar DeWalt !!!

Dewalt oscillating tool (DCS355N-XJ) is $175 delivered @ Amazon AU. Brushless, comes from Amazon Germany.

The Bunnings kit came with the DCS356-XE
I think the XE is the same tool, but comes with more attachments.

And for $50, Amazon has a Ozito PXC 18v to Dewalt battery adaptor (for all us Ozito tightwads).

The only Dewalt oscy tool that Bunnings seems to sell on its own is the is the DCS3556 ( which has a speed selector) for $320. Total Tools has it for $300.
Previous OzB's for the 356:

Amazon AU now has it for $230, which isn't as good, but still better than Bunnings:

  • Wat is an aussilating tool and its uses? Thanks.

      • My-oh-my. I'm frakkin impressed. Can wreak havoc with this thang. 👏

    • Plunge cuts and flush cuts.

    • But for aussilating …. that sounds likes you would need a bunch of angry aussies in auscam running up a hill, rather than a multi-tool.

  • That $50 adaptor seems quite expensive for something that just connects two terminals together within a plastic housing. Are there any more affordable options that people have used?

Here is an adaptor for $36. Might be even cheaper if you have Ebay plus. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/375229514055
