TopCashback has increased the cashback to its highest ever at $80 for the 170GB 12 month plan for $230. Costs $150 after cashback.

Activate within 30 days of purchase to get cashback

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase, and must not be deactivated until your cashback is payable. If the SIM is deactivated prior, Boost may decline cashback.
  • Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. If there is more than one SIM in an order, it will result in an untracked purchase and the purchase will be ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchase of gift cards and/or use of gift cards for payment.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • Always return to TopCashback and click through via the pink cashback button to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.

Good to know

  • Ensure you disable plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole & VPNs prior to clicking/tapping from TopCashback as they will prevent your order from tracking.
  • If you cancel / return / exchange / modify your completed order, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

  • Missing cashback claims must be lodged within 100 days of purchase.

      Despite the expiry date, if you want the cashback, you have to activate within 30 days. If you want a sim that expires later and still with a discount, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/871657 is probably a better option

        Well it seems you can keep the sim beyond the 30 days activation and still get the cashback. Not sure if it works with TopCashBack though.

          The random top ups promotion recently - this was approved and confirmed already even though I haven’t activated the SIM

          I think the only time that the cashbacks were rejected for me was when there was the super upsize promo where it was $20+ profit - I believed Boost refused to pay out the cashback for non activated SIMs

                  @nightelves: Yes that's the problem - don't need to activate immediately. However you probably won't get the cashback if don't active within 30 days.

                  Better off when the deals were discounted and buy on eBay etc without all the cashback bs.

      I received my SIM on Tuesday (15/10) and the expiry is 14-07-2025. Regardless, I still need to activate within 30 days of ordering to be eligible for the $80 Cash Back.

    Tried it yesterday and today. Always the same error. Did it with different phones, browsers, through the app, on the computer, Credit Card, Debit Card, Visa, Master Card with my or my partner details and always the same error. To much hassle for that sim card honestly. And customer service isn't really helpful at all
