Not much data for a kid though, they love to chew through data.
Better off with a Belong SIM when on special because data slows to 1Mbps if you use all your monthly allowance.

im glad its on Optus. I have found so many dead spots on Telstra, i always thought they were supposed to have the best coverage thats why they were so expensive.
Same for me. All 3 carriers have their mobile towers 40m away from me. Telstra is by far the worst for me and it's actually a 5G tower, Vodafone is OK, but Optus is the fastest / best signal. It all comes down to individuals and where you live along with how well the carriers are covering your area.

This is so confusing, what does this mean? You have 2 years to activate? Or 30 days?
You can activate it within 2 years, the 30 day blah blah blah is just any special deals related to data they might have. Eg double data promotions.
The sim will still be fine sitting in your draw for 2 years. I’ve activated 2 year after buying these deals in the past.

From the terms, it sound like the sim card itself can be activated over 24 months. However the sim plan needs to be activated within 30 days. So you can park your phone number into the sim over 24 months, but you will lose the prepaid plan if you dont activate within 30 days. That sound right?
No, you can’t park it for 24 months. It’s just means the BLANK SIM card is still valid for use in 24 months.
Think of it as an airline voucher that’s valid for 24 months. When you decide to use it, you’re at the mercy of what ever value that’s on the voucher.

I have catch 365 day plan and it does not.
Can you use this if your catch connect 365 sim is expired? Or is it new customers only?
