  • I’ve tried cashback via cashrewards as a new Superloop residential customer moving from superloop business for the first time and Superloop just rejected my order. Nothing against the terms and conditions and definitely qualified for being a new customer. Don’t think they like paying cashback.

    • Was probably an Econnex deal if cashrewards. I can confirm that the topcashback deal from around March this year did pay the $55 cashback, it just took a while which was fine.

Hey KD. Just FYI, that's an Econnex Comparison offer which can't be stacked with discounts & codes, rather than this one which is a direct signup via Superloop's website. Have a great day!

      • +1

Econnex is a massive scam, always shows rubbish options - don't use it.
Hope TA does not associate the TCB deals with this company in the future

        • I've used econnex twice to change electricity retailer and has been flawless with payouts. Maybe they suck for internet providers?

      • Thanks TA. Given the Econnex reputation, I don't want to be advertising that as an option then 😊

    • +2

Yeah don't go with Econnex via CR. They're a scam. Legitimate clicks mysteriously don't track with Econnex.

can you bring can the $200 optus?

    • What???

  • Superloop vs Tangerine - which is better? i.e. even with the cashback on a 100/20 plan - Tangerine is still better price for 6 months - curious about people's thoughts on the service difference between the two.

    • +1

Tangerine were hacked on 18 Feb 2024. I would hesitate to go back to them.

      • Did you hack a Tangerine on the 18th Feb?

Superloop customer service is the worst I have come across in any service, from power companies, insurance and ISPs. That was a year ago though so may not reflect how they are now.

    • +2

Can confirm. I'll be switching back to ABB or Leaptel once they credit my account with the goodwill credit they approved. Their customer service is absolutely horrendous. I've caught them out in multiple lies with reps saying one thing to me and then saying the exact opposite later on - from the same rep on the same call.

They refuse to call you back and will never transfer you to the complaints team. In my 20+ years in the customer experience space, never have I ever dealt with such a consistently sh!tty level of customer "service" (service is actually non-existent).

      • +2

They love to keep you on hold for half an hour then simultaneously answer/ hang up.
No matter how cheap i wont go back.

Dealt with them in the last couple of weeks and they were fine. Online chatted then first, then they said to ring them. Fairly painless, all things considered.
