  • wow back already?

Silly question, but I have been an ING customer for years and can't work out how to get on their mailing list for offers like these. Does anyone know?

    • I got a text message not an email. Haven't changed any of the settings on my account.

  • +2

Signed up for this deal 😊 Conditionally Approved instantly for $1000 limit, will report back.

    • -2

“Conditionally approved” usually means submitting a lot of documents, including unnecessary ones, waiting for days, and then hearing, “Sorry, we can’t approve…”

      • All they asked for was payslips… we will see i guess…

        • They asked me for an employment contract also.

Just an update for those wondering!

Approved on Monday, just got the card today. Already put $500 through it, will update once I receive the $200 and close!

Any t&cs that prevent me from buying a $500 gift card and cancelling?

    • I've found from other churns that if you purchase it through Coles or Woolworths in store, it just comes through as a normal groceries spend, then you can obviously buy one of their gift cards. I personally just churn using bills i've already got to pay, that way I don't have to swap over any "normal" spending.

so can i get this one and the previous offer aswell?

    • +1

Seems like not. This is in the offer Ts & Cs:

"Existing ING customers who currently hold an Orange One credit card or have held an Orange One credit card within the last 12 months of the date specified in your email are not eligible for this offer."

  • will an Orange Everyday account be opened when I apply for the credit card?

    • You have to open one, if you don't have one already.

  • I submitted the application, but there was no place to fill in the promo code.

    • +1

From memory it’s towards the end of the application

      • Couldn’t find it. Maybe it’s automatic.

        • +1

I don’t think so. Pretty sure you’ve gotta manually put it in; atleast for the past few ING promos.

      • I have ING saving accounts, so I chose existing customer. Is that the reason?

        • Potentially, I signed up as a new customer and it asked me for a promo code after i put in my preferred credit limit.

          • +1

@vaporwave: A month ago I helped someone apply as an existing customer. The first thing asked after hitting "Start Application" was the Promo code, followed by Preferred maximum limit.

  • I signed up for this CC a month ago, damit

  • Can i sign up with the code even if i didn't get the email? I am already an ING customer.

    • Yes, because in OzB you are either friend or family with OP

  • anyone have a pdf/screenshot of the email in case I need to prove to ING I do have friends? Ty!

  • Does anyone know how long the application review process take? Applied last week and supplied all the required docs but haven't heard since.

    • Update: Just got approved today

      • Got approved too, but where does it say we have the cashback offer? I used to the code while signing up but there is no mention of it.

        • That makes me nervous too but I think they won't say anything explicitly. Just hoping they would honour it. Otherwise you can always submit a complaint to AFCA - banks usually take it more seriously.

          • @foxes28: Same deal with bonus points with rewards based credit cards.
There is no mention of the promotion in your account anywhere.

If it doesn't work out, just reach out to them (which is an additional hassle).

        • +1

Hey just an update. I met the spend requirement earlier this month and last week I got an email:

          Congratulations XXX!

You've qualified for the $200 cashback bonus on your Orange One Low Rate credit card. We'll pop the $200 into your Orange Everyday account within 60 days.

I applied 1st oct. still nothing

  • Hmm, got rejected after a week of silence and only requested for $500 credit :(

    • Why haven't you revoked your upvote? Isn't the minimum limit $1,000?

  • Fully approved for $1000 CL in less than an hour from completing my application.
This is a record for me.

They didn't even ask for payslips or employment contract. I guess they simply matched my answers with my credit file.
I am still pleasantly surprised as my mortgage is with BOM / St George, and salary payments are paid to a non-ING account.

  • Lol got rejected. I have never been rejected for a CC before. Does ING know something I don't?

  • Already claimed this in may 😀
    Wish could do it again!
What other credit card options are available in the market atm? Any suggestions!

  • +2

Applied and denied within a few hours yesterday, strange considering i only requested a $1000 credit limit.
It's really annoying that these application don't take into account assets, they only ask for liabilities. Ok my Mortgage might be $500,000 but you didn't about the 200k in my offset.
I guess i could probably request a further review but the deal looks is expired now so i doubt they would honor it.

  • Can you be eligible if you've had the same credit card with them previously?

Edit; not within the last 12 monhts

  • Applied 3rd Nov, after supplying more docs, Approved for $2500 limit on 6th Nov
Will update once I meet the bonus spend requirements and if I get the Bonus

    • I have a orange everyday. Never had a ING credit card.

When applying from logging into online banking, where in the process to put in the promo code CASH200?

  • anyone applied from Nov 4? their upload system stopped work, emailed no response.

  • Does this deal work if you apply after 31 October? So should this be expired?

    • +2

ORANGEBONUS offer expired 31 October 2024.

      CASH200 is 30th November 2024.

  • No email, $200 (Miscellaneous Credit) deposited to Orange Everyone Account (not Credit Account) after 2 weeks of meeting spend requirement.
