UPDATE 3 Nov, we are officially at capacity with every registered people having paid their deposit.
I have checked with restaurant if they could fit more but at the moment it is a no due to the extra areas not being sheltered/covered.
Therefore, they will come back to me about a week before to see how the weather goes.

Thanks everyone for coming and thanks @scotty for the incredible gesture of bringing the Ozbargain community together in person to celebrate this significant Ozbargain milestone!

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves with the good feed and company!
This was my first time organising an OzBargain meetup and glad we had full attendance!

UPDATE: I have asked the restaurant if they could increase capacity (since we have 9 on Wait List) but they said they can only can do it if the weather is good as the extra space has no shelter/covered.

They will only let me know about a week before so they can check on the weather forecast and make a decision.

Unfortunately no OzB tshirts for this meetup due to delivery delay.

See the below from Scotty.

Here's an update on the T-shirts this year — it's severely delayed. The manufacturer just got back to me this morning and mentioned that they are expecting to finish on 10 Nov. It's going to take a week of DHL to deliver to my place in Sydney, and probably another week to post to various states — we are now looking at the last week of November, which means many events would miss out. Finger crossed that the manufacturer can actually post them out by 10 Nov, as there has already been some significant delay so far.

Reminder that the dining area is OUTDOOR/ALFRESCO .

It's gonna be raining in the morning/afternoon so hopefully by evening, it should be done!

The dining area is sheltered with outdoor heaters so would be fine if it's light rain etc.
However if you dont like the cold, consider bringing a light jacket!

I will be personally checking in attendees and will need to scan your Ozbargain account QR code.
The refund of the $10 deposit will be provided to you in cash during check in.

Please ensure you are logged in to Ozbargain on your phone prior to ensure a smooth check in process, as per Event Check In Process.

1. Open up OzBargain on your phone browser, and make sure you have signed into your account.

Lastly, I would like to give a shout out to that one Ozbargainer ("Neo Munch" on Google) who attended the meetup and left a 3 star Google Review for the restaurant after having his/her free meal.

Mate, just unbelievable, truly!
You had a free meal and even if the food was too salty for you, you really did not need to leave a 3 star review!
The restaurant was kind enough to even give us a bloody mango sticky rice as complimentary dessert (even though all I asked was for a scoop of ice cream each!)

You have no idea how embarrassed I was when the restaurant owner showed me the new 3 star Google review they received a few minutes after the meetup ended!
After all they have done to support this meetup!
Yes, they know it's our group because you mentioned the mango sticky rice which is not on their menu because they specially made it for us, just for this event!

You have no idea how tough it is out there and the impact of your 3 star review to a small family business, especially in hospitality these days!
Fair enough if you paid for the meal, but you didn't! SHAME ON YOU
