looks pretty cool. I only eat pineapple occasionally but pretty tempted tbh.

Apparently pineapple, brown sugar and cinnamon is awesome on the BBQ 😉

go to any brazilian bbq and you'll find out!

      Hell yeah!
If you've tried Brazillian BBQ then you may be aware that the enzymes in pineapple apparently help with digestion.
Certainly tastes amazing to have it during your meal between numerous servings of grilled meat!

Don't forget to drench it in rum for extra fun.

How much pineapple do i need to eat to justify this do you think?

This will pair perfectly with the strawberry slicer I got on the other deal.

I bought this for no other reason than to watch my wife initially hate it and then have to eat her words, the way she did the oxo apple slicer that she detested when it arrived on the doorstep. Let’s hope for some cheap pines this summer!

    • That's a pretty good reason!

I've been meaning to get one since seeing that Sorted vid, just didn't wanna pay stupid price for it. Has been around the $35-40 mark

I've used one of those in the past and they worked pretty well.

All of them create a little bit of wasted pineapple but you can use a spoon to scrap and eat the excess left on the skin.

Not really worth it unless you eat pineapple regularly.

How this works for different sizes of pineapple I mean big or small in diameter
Edit : Seems I have to select the fruit in size with this cutter diameter

  • Been waiting for this, thanks

    A. Seems a little wasteful…. But im just a tightarse lol
    B. The core is the most healthiest part…

    • This makes the core easier to remove. Blend it and you're good to go. Or even boil the skin in water with the core for juice.

You shouldn’t cook pineapple if you can, it kills the Bromelain. That’s why canned pineapples aren’t as good as the fresh stuff, it’s basically cooked pineapple in a can

        • Sure go eat the hard skin instead.

    Just use a knife. 🤦

    • Just like buying a pressure washer to clean your car. Sure, the garden hose works but it's not as fun.

      • Apples/oranges/pineapples.

I use my pressure washer more than enough to justify the purchase, how many pineapples are you eating to justify yours?

        • +2

This will get used plenty for the first 30 days, then it will be stored in a dark cupboard or box until someone finds it years later and asks what the f is this?

  • +1

The healthiest part of the pineapple is the core.. slice it into thin strips and chew away.. worth it for the enzimes and super health benifits
