  That bit in Spider Man 2 (or was it 3?) with Toby McGuire in the club wearing a black suit and dancing…..WHY SAM RAIMI, WHY????????? That scene still haunts me.

    That's number 3, Spider-Man 2 is near perfect
    My interpretation of how cringe Peter acts after he embraced the symbiote is that he starts acting what HE thinks 'cool' is, which is extremely cringe stuff like that haha

      Is 3 the one where his neighbour with pigtails makes him a cake? Either way, even though I know it could of and should of been better, I still liked Spiderman 3 and the Sandman was a really cool, (though sadly underutilized) villain.

        Huh I have a memory of it being from 3 but it's actually from 2
        Yea Sandman was such a cool and empathetic villain
        Studio interference to put too many villains which bloated it, the original plan was just Sandman focus I imagine would have been great
        Raimi was forced to put in Venom and he slyly got back at them that during Venom's death you see the skeleton get disintegrated as well (so they couldn't bring Venom back even if they wanted to)

          Yeah, I heard something similar to this, it would of been so good if Raimi could have made 3 about Sandman and then another afterwards focusing on Venom. I heard he was still willing to make a forth movie even after 3 came out, but it didn't come to fruition (I think something to do with wanting a better script).

          Such a shame imo, because it's one of the best super hero franchises ever made and we could of had more.
