    • Thanks for letting me know re website, i will look into this now.
We don't advertise through solarquotes yet however you can see our reviews on google.

  • How long is the warranty for the battery??

    • 10 years

      • Ok Cheers bro

  • I have an existing system - I think it's about 8kw panel on 7kw inverter. I think the amount of solar you propose + my existing solar would be massive overkill. Especially as I assume FIT will disappear in the next couple of years.

Ignoring FIT, how much would one 'save' approx having a battery. Pardon my (genuine) stupidity, but at let's say 30c a KW purchase price, and storage of 10kw, let's say I use all of that battery power each night, am I only saving about $3 per day (ie using 9.6kw rather than buying it?)

Your somewhat on the right track here, that works out at $10950 after 10 years of saving, power will likely at least double in price in that time, battery will drop in performance but 80% is the limit usually for warrentee.

Add in cloudy days and non consumption seems pretty breakeven still… save more if you go to time of day billing and get cheap off peak power

      • Thanks. Yes energy will probably increase but I think I need to get something in no more than 8-10k range to make it worthwhile or buy an EV (which I doubt I will).

I’m currently exporting 20-35kw a day as it is so I feel I don’t even need any more solar right now, maybe just a battery capable inverter and battery.
