    You're*

  • -$15 for first trade
    +$100 -$15 second trade
    -$15 selling all shares
    =$55 profit

quite a bit of work for only $55
how long does it take to open an account? and how do they verify your ID?

    • Its even less that that as the credit can only be used for trades or fees, not cash out…

Only worth chasing if you were intending to start trading anyway

      • It's cash not credit.

        • the T&C's from the post would disagree with your comment

Once the Member's first trade settles, $100 will be deposited into their Bell Direct trading account to be used for brokerage or to purchase shares.

  • Also works for RACV members.

With Bell Direct the market data is delayed by 20 minutes unless you do more than 5 trades a month. E*trade has live data and trades are 19.95. I'm not sure how other brokers rate for data but I think that live data is very important as you want to know the price when you put in your order, not what it was 20 minutes ago.

  • This has been available the last couple of times I renewed my RACV, even mentioned it in the commsec thread.
