    FYI, it's only 4.76% off
Better only buy what you need until 30/Nov and wait for better deals on Black Friday, which is on 29/Nov

    • +3

      Cheers for the mafs

    • +2

has there been better deals than 5%(4.76%) extra for woolie in the pasts?

  • Can this be used to buy the TCN gift cards from Woolworths coming at 20x from Wednesday? TIA

    • I don't think you can buy gift card with WWL gift card.

    • No. You can’t buy gift cards with gift cards, the POS terminal won’t allow it.

Pity SA doesn't offer this :(

      • Move to NSW.

      • +2

Be nice to your VIC/NSW senior relatives 😉

WISH egift can be used across all Woolies group stores as well, more versatile!

  • It was 4% off, actually we get now is an extra 0.076% not 5%.

    • +4

      0.76% 🧐

      • Yes, you're right.

20-25% extra value at Aldi every day. Stop supporting Woolworths and Coles.

    • +4

Waiting for ALDI to put gift cards on special :)
But for some things 5% off + Weekly special + 10% off a month , makes it worth it for Woolies

    • +6

Have shopped at Aldi and I honestly dont find the 20-25% cheaper claim. If you are shoping housebrand across them its a lot closer in price and if you are shopping brands at Coleworth and home brand at Aldi then agree its cheaper.

      • -1

Thats the thing though, ALDI products are not house brand quality. So not a fair comparison

        • +1

But they are, they are not mainstream aussie or international brands.

      • +1

        Agreed!

This is even what Aldi itself is saying:

I still do shop Aldi when possible, bc I still do feel the difference at the checkout.
        but 25%? I don't think so.

        • +1

Compare our no-brand vs their real brands.

          Ridiculous comparison. Apples vs lemons.

          • @odysseus: Honestly I recon the reason I save at aldi is : there simply are no expensive branded products to choose. And limited selection means I'm not making any impulse buys (just need to avoid the special buys 🙃)

Woolworth gift cards are easier to use then Coles or Category gift cards.

At least with Woolworths you can use them online.

    • For normies that just buy what they want on routine this is true.

If you goto woolies/coles with the intention of only buying things that are marked at half price and are in-line with homebrand/aldi pricing then woolies/coles is basically the same.

  • great

  • Coles Visa Giftcards not working on this portal.

    • +4

Were you using the Visa gift card in the Credit or Debit Card section, or the PayPal Pay Now or Pay in 4 section?

If you were using it in the Credit or Debit Card section, that should not work, as Woolworths Group appears to reject all Visa cards not supporting 3-D Secure (which includes the Visa gift cards from Coles). I tried redeeming a few different prepaid Visa gift cards over the last couple of years through this option and all have been rejected.

The PayPal option should work (unless you are saying you also tried using the Visa gift card via PayPal for this portal and it also did not work).

      • +2

        Thanks paypal worked

  • Would warn about using this site. Just ordered $1000 worth of gift cards through PayPal and had the transaction made, then immediately reversed. No gift cards issued, and I'm out $1000 from my credit card until the refund processes "within 10 business days". [might be longer that that as presumably then PayPal will need to process the refund to the credit card]

    • Worked for me. Ordered $2,000 worth, paid by credit card via PayPal Pay in 4. Received the e-gift cards via email two minutes later.

5% off gift cards through RACV for these stores has been the norm for ages so no deal here for me.

    • +2

No any woolworths gift card from RACV

  • They are accessed through a separate page, not the e-gift cards page. https://www.racv.com.au/membership/member-discounts/shopping…
Also just realised it includes the Woolies Supermarket gift cards, which in this case there is a little extra value to be had.

    • +1

      Wrong thread

    • I thought Woolworths Gift Cards are at a 4% discount from RACV?

      • +2

Yes they are. I amended my comment to state that this deal offers better value for Woolies cards.

  • +1

Just purchased BIG W eGift card and didn't get the 5% on top.
EDIT: Just found out I clicked the wrong link, why would they have two links!
