Makita DLM464PT2 36V (18V x2) 5.0Ah Brushless Lawn Mower + Free Line Trimmer Kit $618 C&C @ Tools Warehouse

220

Credit to this deal for the heads up - but I felt this deserved its own post.

A few of these mowers popping up lately but this one is over $100 cheaper for those able to click & collect in Sydney & Townsville.

I've had my eyes on the Ego products but after some less than favourable reviews on their batteries and consistently good things said about the Makita range has me re-evaluating.

$100 shipped to Brisbane is still a great deal as well.

  • If you are from brisbane, I would suggest checking the price at different bunnings. I got mine for $699 at Rocklea and a couple of other stores around there had the same clearance price.

    • Good point - if you can find stock anywhere you're potentially looking at ~$560 with the 10% price beat.

  • I assume that this comes with Free Line Trimmer Kit + Redemptions ?

  • Can Bunnings price beat this?

Usually only in the same state

I'm giving it a go with Bunnings and the others

  • Good deal if you don't wanna join the Ego crowd.

  • I have this mower and it runs like a charm. Granted its been just under 2 years but it does the job for me. One thing to note is the weight; if you have multi-level retaining wall, it is quite challenging to take it from one level to another especially if you don't have easy access. Having said that, the extra weight gives a good amount of stability on a flatter ground. Hope this helps.

  • Great mower, last summer I made the switch from my old Husqvarna 4-stroke to this exact mower, no regrets at all.

for people that own this what size yard/how long would this run with a full charge?

Looks like they’ve taken this down! Was about to grab one.

    • nooooooooooooooooooo
I didn't hear back from Bunnings either :(

I’ve had this for 4 years. Small 3br house on a 650m2 block.

With 2 6Ah batteries, I will usually be able to do my entire backyard (even after not mowing for a long time until it’s overgrown)

Then I switch to 2 5Ah batteries and do the front. By the end, all my batteries are about 15% full.

Thanks OP, got one from Bunnings for $556.6

    • Nice! How did you manage that - emailing customer support? Or straight to a store?

      • At store, showed them the website and the girl called them to confirm it is in stock even though the website stated its in stock.,

    • I called one of the local stores and they asked me go to the store and ask counter staffs…
are you able to share your quotation please ?

    • Post receipt please

  • QLD - Trade Tools is still doing this deal ($749) until the 30th. Bonus $100 store credit until the 28th. https://www.tradetools.com/makita-18v-x2-5-0ah-brushless-law… Price match with Bunnings yada yada yada.
