Personally no idea. For me the in stock store was not the nearest and was maybe extra 20mins drive away, but this wasn't an issue.
Looking at other comments I've seen sometimes shipping is ignored, other times staff want to tack on Bunnings shipping cost even if the competitor has free shipping. I guess it just depends on the staff member at the time
Majority of the actual deals are gone, the rest is not that impressive to be honest.
Every skin I've looked at is much cheaper than Bunnings or major tool shops by a large amount, and most are in stock. Very rare for dealers to sell whole catalogues well under Makita's pricing guide like this.

Not quite answering your question, but a lot of Makita model numbers are different to what the tool stores sell. Bunnings often has a lower quality and cheaper spec. Not a huge difference, but its there. This is more for the battery tools, not so much garden equipment etc

I got my local Bunnings to price match, but because the local Tools Warehouse didn't have the item in stock, Bunnings just matched the price and didn't beat it by 10%. That's a better result than then adding shipping on, so I'm not complaining.

Yes they do. Always found it easier to price beat with their customer service email/ number rather then trying to do it in store. Sometimes the store staff make it more difficult.
I have had them price beat an online deal from interstate. Was Tuggeranong Caberra. The manager didnt even question it.

I suspect they are purposefully delaying waiting for the item to sell out - but thats just the cynic in me :-)
In store will be much faster obviously. Hence why I decided to pull trigger and just buy from these guys and pay shipping, still much better than I could get from Bunnings even with 5% off. I’m hours from a Bunnings atm with it being a long weekend in melb
Price beat was in store…previous experience using email for price beat was a waste of time as Bunnings took days to get back to me and their response was a bit wishy washy

Was able to have Bunnings price matched the drop saw LS1110F (from $619 to $424). At first Bunnings said they couldn't match the $471 sale price. They could only match the original $509 from Tools Warehouse.
