It's in the app as a 'Special Challenge' under 'Earn More'. Seems to be for targeted users, with 1766 total redemptions.

Full Terms:

  • This challenge entitles you to up to $50 bonus Cashback when you make any purchase at ShopBack Gift Cards between 27th September 2024 12.00am AEST and 30th September 2024 11.59pm AEST.
    Possible values of bonus Cashback (issued at random, while redemptions last):
    • 1 x $50
    • 5 x $20

    • 1000 x $2.50
  • Only purchases made after you 'Join' this challenge will qualify for the bonus Cashback.

      But I was a new user - It was my first time buying gift cards through SB. I actually had a separate 'New customer' bonus for a $5 woolies card (50% / $2.50), and that stacked with this offer. (I got a $2.50 bonus) (I'm not a SB+ member)

      I ended up getting a $5 card for free!

    Time for it to die and see what topcashback and cashrewards can do in it's wake.

      I didn't have ShopBack+ to get this offer, but having more companies just increases the competition and leads to more competitive offers doesn't it?

      But I agree, if it became like Playstation Plus with a monthly fee to 'access' basic features like online access, that would be awful.

        Yeah the problem is they force it to be the new normal by ceasing to offer good deals that used to be freely accessible. Eg: like ebay plus.

        TopCashback UK has a similar membership to Plus. Perhaps ShopBack copied them.
