You won't be able to order at a restaurant you have done previously though, as the wording is 'first order' at eligible restaurants (have updated title).

Usually they would appear already in the list at the bottom, but it would just state that they aren't open yet.
Eg 'Opens Thu at 11:00 am' or 'Opens Thu at 5:30 pm'. You can preorder it now though in that case.
So you might not have much luck.

Order got cancelled, but got Doordash to compensate with $10 credit. Just stated I was unable to use the promocode again, I know Doordash in the past have always not compensated so not sure if I got lucky with the support or they have changed their policy.
I bought Doordash $50 giftcard from Cashrewards first from this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/868237 so, I get $1.5 (3% normal cashback) + $5 (CR promotional cashback) = $6.5 cashback. Then, I hunt for $30 meal and apply this $15 discount, and choose pick up. So, I end up having the lunch at only $8.5 :D happy day!

The only way you can make an order right now is if its outside operating hours then make the order for a schedule time. If its currently supposed to be open you cant get the order to go through, it will give you the same error.
Now that the code has been used, all the places no longer unavailable for delivery are now available. What a coincidence.

I figured out how to resolve this. Log out of your DD account, delete the app, restart your phone, install the app back, login back and it should work.

@Smallman: There appears to be another 50% off (up to $15) banner which is purple in colour on my app now (the one earlier today was red). Just tested this purple banner and it works.
The delivery cost and service fee is $8 in total for a meal to be delivered from a restaurant in the same suburb. Cuts into that $15 discount. Makes this deal much less appealing especially when the food also costs a few dollars more than in-store prices.
Might be worth doing pick up (if available from restaurant) to save that $8.
