  Delivery apps are a scam. Meals get doubled in price magically so free delivery gets you nothing good anyway

    Occasionally the deals are amazing and you get free dashpass with Prime.

    But I can easily find a deal for ~40% not being worth it due to markup, service fee and delivery.

    Have saved a lot of money on groceries when they launched that service though. Insane deals.

    Also, great to stack these with gift cards - extra 10% off.

      Yeah I have the free door dash with prime, ordered these meals from betty burger and it was like $60 for two standard burger meal. They jack up the price because they have to go through the effort of giving the meal to a driver? Hopeless.

        Nah, they jack up the prices cause the techbros at DoorDash and Uber take about 30% of the total. It's insanity. I can understand something like 10% - but 30% is lunacy.

        They just pass on the costs. Unless there's an incredible bargain, I will only get delivery from places I can deal with directly.
