  • yes, the ali deal is better. I have one and it seems to work OK. I find the form factor to be more useful than a normal multimeter.

    Professional huh. At $9 each with a completely unknown brand. Can’t see industry throwing out their Flukes for this.

    • I don't think it is an unknown brand, its been around for years and still around. Cheap they are.
      I bought an Aneng years ago, build quality is decent, not cheap looking or feeling.
      But I don't use it much, I prefer my cheapo Jaycar one I bought over a decade ago.

  • Not a single word about True RMS, capacitance is only from 10nF to 40mF, no diode and other basic checks, it's just a toy. You can't even stick it into some complex board with small distance between components. Neither professional, nor just a multimeter, it's a toy.

    • It does have diode checking, but doesn't replace a full multimeter. I just have this one in the car, so really only voltage and fuse checks.
