JB Hi-Fi Commercial has some limited time deals on starting today. Not sure if anything worthwhile in the rest but this looks like a good price, albeit an older model.

  • This with home or Ring with subs?

    • +1

Look, this requires the Eufy Homebase in order to operate which (if expanded with a HDD) gives you all of the features of Ring but just free (exception of the cost of the Homebase and HDD)

If you already have a Eufy Homebase its a no brainer but if you dont, the Ring may be more suited to your needs. But if you are looking for security cameras now or down the line, get this and a homebase.

      • I have a Eufy homebase but a ring doorbell. Wondering if i should put it on marketplace and buy this instead. No subs…but is it the same kind of instant notifications, etc.?

        • +1

Yes, considering you already have the Eufy homebase you can integrate it into everything else. You still get instant notifications, two way audio ect

          • @AircraftFreight: would this or the two camera version be better ?

            • @Do I NeedThis: Really depends on your needs, either works - just make sure you choose the right version for yourself (wired v battery) and compatibility with your homebase

@Do I NeedThis: At this price it's a no brainer. I have this model and think the 2nd camera is more of a marketing pitch than anything else. For under $150 you could then get another standalone eufy set up higher somewhere to provide a better vantage point of your area.

@liam2040: That's very true, I have the eufy s330 I think solar cameras and looking to replace my first gen ring batter which doesn't even last 3 weeks max. As long as this is compatible with the hub I'm happy to buy it. And thanks to you, great point on saving $150 to purchase another camera instead of spending on the dual camera doorbell

Ring requires a subscription for most of the useful features. That's money down the drain.

Get a fully local solution to maintain control of your own data, and avoid recurring payments. Eufy is a decent choice, but you do need a Homebase (try Facebook marketplace for a cheap one).

If you already have doorbell wiring, the Reolink PoE or Wifi doorbells are fully local, and do not require any other devices or subscriptions to access all features. At ~$120 including a wireless chime, it's an absolute bargain - but wiring is required. The release of the battery version ($220) is coming any day now, if you can wait…..

  • If anyone want some Hood's for these, feel free to message me.

    • can you share some picture of it ? how much will it cost ?

      • will send u a DM

    • can you share the me as well? TA

Reolink is the way to go, especially PoE version if possible.
