Ti is better.
There's no 4070 ti. There's a 4070 ti super however with 16gb VRAM. The 4070 Super has 12gb ram and is weaker than the 4070 ti super.
So the ti version is in fact better than the non ti version?
Yes! It goes:
4070 ti super > 4070 super > 4070
No, there is a 4070 Ti 12GB. It released prior to the Super and Super Ti models, and has since been discontinued a few months ago though there's still stock available. It was originally the 4080 12GB on launch, then got quickly "unlaunched" and rereleased as the 4070 Ti after negative feedback.
I'm not surprised there's some confusion about this though, Nvidia has made a real mess of their naming recently.
He might have meant that it's officially discontinued and generally unavailable for retail purchase, so he isn't factoring it. Although I'm sure there are some stores with excess stock for both parts and prebuilts with the 4070ti.
Does the i7 14700f have the intel instability issues?
any 13th gen and 14th gen intel processors with TDP of above 65W so that means all of their desktop and gaming laptop processors…
Bet all companies still holding stock are banging their heads in frustration…
However being brand new, you'd just apply the new bios/microcode updates and from all accounts so far, seem to prevent it degrading.
HP has also passed on the 2 year extended warranty, so you're covered for 5 years I think.
Assuming Intel doesn't get bought out by qualcomm haha.
has HP released the BIOS update specifically for this product? cause you know how the branded PCs driver supports are usually a bit slow…
@meong: Looks like it - https://support.hp.com/au-en/drivers/swdetails/omen-by-hp-25…
As they should for the $30 psu they throw into it
I’m aware of the 14th gen CPU issues, I purchased one of these units a few months ago with the i7-14700F and 4070Ti and I’ve haven't experienced any stability or performance issues at all?
if so, then install the BIOS update immediately (few comments above) as when the bug occurs, it will permanently damage your CPU.
Even though it will be covered by warranty, it will suck if you have to be without a computer.
Yeah at least last week I replaced my 14700K, there are always some freeze deaths on most games.
Worth buying over the Nebula PC deal? (5600, RTX 4070 S $1368) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/867389
For pure FPS per $, the Nebula PC offer wins as long as you are gaming at 1440p or higher
Really.. This is $400 more though.
Stephendt is correct from an $/fps perspective - this deal would not be worth the extra money for the additional CPU power as it will only make marginal differences to FPS at 1440p or higher as the GPU is likely the bottleneck.
No, IMO. That or a 7600/7500F deal for a few hundred more would both be better value for most users.
With Windows & Delivery it is $1,638, you do get the Steam Gift Card though
can i have what you're having?
We never see anyone protesting on behalf of Uighurs in internment camps or against actual genocide being committed in Sudan by RSF.
Did you protest when Yazidis were being killed or raped by ISIS or Yemeni cities were being bombed by Saudi Arabia? I guess not, because Jews were not involved.
HP Inc, who make this computer, don't make servers or data centres.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise make servers, and if you want to boycott them then go for your life. Personally I haven't bought many data centres lately though, so it hasn't been an issue.
Why don’t you just go there and help the oppressed people with being a keyboard warrior on a deals site?

System Coolers
92 mm 2-heatpipe non-RGB air coolerWhat is with these case manufacturers putting the ports and buttons on the top and in this case a fair way back… Put them on the front for access ffs
With a 14700F, 4070 Super and Windows included… this is quite a good deal
hp bad quality my omen 40l 4090 freezes itself in gaming after 6 months. requested a replacement.
the quality of everything is effed. 😭
can’t rely on anything anymore. they even continually make stuff like laundry machines worse and built to break quickly. and I swear covid just made quality even worse.
good thing I can’t spend much so my disappointment is limited.
There is also OMEN | Twr | i7 14th Gen | 32GB | 2TB | RTX4070 Ti Super for $2183.20 with voucher.
I wonder if the thermals have improved on these models? I bought one a few years ago (Omen I7-10700 + 3080) and it goes off like a jet engine when maxing out.
super or ti? better?
