This. I switched to ergo k860 and lift 18 months ago and would never go back to other keyboard/mouse form factors.
For bonus points watch someone attempt to use your workstation for the very first time and see them do a double take!
I had the Evoluent vertical mouse, 20 years ago, and after a few years using it, I went back to a normal mouse, because of usability "factors".
Is the 'MX Lift' comfortable to use?
Doesn't the little, pinky finger get fatigued over time ?
Also, do you rest your wrist on the table, or does it hover, when using the mouse?
@whyisave: I've owned the Evoluent is less comfortable than the MX vertical. (Given its an older designer - its much boxier)
The pinky finger doesn't do anything, its the top two or three fingers that trigger
@Commodore64: You had the Evoluent ? That's good.
So, you can compare, from experience.
I found the pinky finger would do nothing, and over time, fatigue developed.
Also, I would find my wrist would hover and not rest on the table, so I gave up vertical mouses [Evoluent mouse].
(I would also find difficulty with detailed, fine mouse movements, with the Evoluent, eg. in Photoshop)
This combo vs Logitech wave keyboard and Logitech ergonomic mouse. What would be best for you palm/fingers?
Suggest k860 keyboard. For mouse, I initially thought MX Vertical would suit me, however ended up with MX Lift. suggest buying via Amazon if you have prime to avoid any return issues with other retailers.
K860 is the best hands down (obviously the priciest).
The wave offers a good value proposition though compared to say the microsoft arc (which is still a usb key that cannot be replaced if lost - steer clear!).
I use both the MX Vertical and the MX Ergo (tiltable track ball) in different circumstances.
Thanks to the unifying receiver I can pair them together.
I paid $247 for this mouse and keyboard separately from JB HiFi in July.
I can't seem to find your post letting others know about that price. Please share the keys to your time machine instead.
The 'hack' would have been a great share with others
@[Deactivated]: That's not the OzBargain way.
Why are you even on OzB? By your argument, surely you should be doing a Google search on every single item you want to buy, and not even bothering to check with OzB.
Way to go for sharing.
PS I didn't neg you.
@[Deactivated]: You didn't help me save $50 mate, I was never in the market for this. That's cool, it's all about you anyway. Safe to say, you're living the karma life.
@dangerdanger: Then itâs quite strange that youâre even in this thread for this product if youâre not interested in it, and have commented about me not sharing the bargain when I bought them. You mustnât have much going on in your life if thatâs what youâre on internet doing.
If you think not posting a bargain on OzBargain is some uncaring act of greats significance and this means that I only care about myself/itâs all about me, then you certainly take this site and your membership here far too seriously, and I would suggest taking a break from them internet. I help out other people with much more important things in life than this.
@[Deactivated]: For someone that doesnât care, youâre putting in a lot of effort to reply to people with walls of text
@87percent: Iâm not putting in any significant effort at all, itâs a been a time filler during a period of the afternoon that I have been restricted to looking at my phone⌠Thatâs all you are to me, a time waster.
Also, Iâm in this thread because I own these products, and originally I was curious if there were questions about them by those who were thinking about buying this combo pack which I was keen to answer because I did care to help, however I am certainly not any longer.

To quote your own comment from earlier:
You mustnât have much going on in your life if thatâs what youâre on internet doing
Surely you can figure out that yourself by doing a simple Google search for each product
I guess that means OzBargain has become redundant now since we all have access to Google.
Mods: it looks like you can all take a worthy break and close down OZB since we've all got Google. Apparently that's all we need đ¤ˇđťââď¸
@KangaDrew: This guy is hilarious :-D
@[Deactivated]: I didn't neg you either.
its doable. this deal is only worth it if you actually wanted the palm rest OR if you don't wanna wait for them to go on sale individually. On sale you can get…
Master 3s Mouse - $100
Keys S Keyboard - $150
The total there would be $250, plus if you value the palm rest at $15, this one does seem like a decent deal.
thats what i said lol
Price matching Logitechshop on eBay. Can get extra $20 with StudentBeans or use your $5 eBay plus coupon
Thanks OP, was able to price beat at Officeworks.
Thanks OP, got price matched too at OW.
The mini sized MX-Keys is also $118.15 if you want just the keyboard: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09LYZP1LG?th=1
No numpad though in that one.
Pink one further discounted at $113.01: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09LZ3G2GH?th=1
âScroll 1000 lines per secondâ.. wtf
You can buy a byd at this price… No thanks
These are expensive imo, nice alternative is the K850 combo at only $115 atm - https://www.amazon.com.au/Logitech-Performance-Wireless-KeybâŚ
Not a bad deal.. personally prefer the Ergo K860 and MX Vertical for WFH
