I think Ultimate Pro and Ultimate Plus performed better in CHOICE testing. If these are overseas imported tablets they might have different formulation anyway.

Aldi 18-in-1 still performs best and cheapest.

Aldi 18-in-1 still performs best and cheapest.

Not my experience with the new more expensive version that released a couple of months ago. The previous formula was cheaper and worked better.

Use powder as mentioned on plenty of the posts and in the linked video in those posts.

      • The powder has changed in recent months, it now leaves a white residue on plastics in my dishwasher. Has been confirmed on the Aldi lovers FB group too

        • Oh! I thought my dishwasher wasn’t working properly. I’m getting that white coating on all my plastics now.
          Time to switch.

Everyone, please watch the hours of dishwasher content from this guy and then you won't buy any tabs/caps again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHP942Livy0

Also 99% of the cleaning stuff is the same couple active ingredients you can buy homebrand made in Australia for like $2 or even get it concentrated from bunnings in bulk and just add water. The name brand will charge you literally like 3-10x and be made in Vietnam/Thailand/Malaysia for chemically identical stuff.

Even the bug spray now is a joke, $17 for Raid, homebrand IDENTICAL chemicals $3.30 made in Australia. Glen20 made in Malaysia only ingredient is 60% ethanol, same story, made in Australia homebrand is 3x cheaper.

People just dont care and they keep gouging. So much for stuff here being too expensive to make.

Eww nah not the lemon flavour

  • What's so special in these as compared to Coles or Woolies tabs?

    Do aldi still sell powder.

Tablets are just compressed powder anyway so just buy powder. Way cheaper.

    • Dishwashers work better with powder anyway, as tablets don’t work with the prewash cycle whereas tablets do.

      • Don't you mean whereas powder does.
