No 7/11 stores in WA for one.
There are 1000's of places like this. Dick Smith's are common in towns with 15,000+ population, where as 7/11 is more like 100,000+. So most towns in that spectrum

I have a 2-3 hour (each way) trip to a 7-11 but have a Dick Smith in the town where I live. Is that too hard for you to work out?
