Fulfil your lifetime ambition by buying one.

      • No thanks

  • 8.5Nm ? That is like 40N at the road. So bad I suspect wrong.

Also, only 40km range with pedalling from a 360Wh battery?
Cast wheels instead of spokes, and steel frame. I'd be hesitant. I know it is cheap but …

    • So the question then is - is it a bargain o not?

      • I think there are a very limited number of people for whom the cheapest e-bike is a good deal.
If just going a short distance, get a non-electric folding bike. If riding a lot and you actually need a motor, consider something like 99-bikes $999 model.

As somebody who's new to ebikes, really appreciated this comment, thanks ☺️

  • just fyi
long time ago i was looking to get stationary bike and at gumtree there were lots of people selling this brand.
personally i will avoid even if this is $300

    • Fortis is just Kogan's importer brand. I got a Fortis folding bike for $120, very happy with it for occasional use.

I bought a fortis folding bike and when I was riding it the seat would fall down (from brand new and I was substantially below the weight reating). They told me to provide a video for warranty purposes - which I refused. Got full refund.

That stupid link of uploading vids never worked. Their customer service is very good at setting up more barriers for customers to claim any DOB or warranty!

      • As if I'm going to send them a video of me riding my bike while the seat slowly falls down and my knees end up around my ears. Idiots.

    36V 10Ah Lithium battery
    - 250W Brushless motor

Worst configuration in the market, max 10km distance.
