      Hey I also wanted to jump on the bandwagon of shitting on Chinese Lego sets but do you know Lego actually don't own their own building system? Which means any company with original ideas and designs can just do their own brands. Happened with the Cada F1 Alfa Romeo which is an official endorsed product and in certain aspects are better than the current F1 Technic sets from Lego?

      Look it up. Time has changed oldtimer :)

        Not sure how mentioning the country of China is actually shitting on their products. It's common knowledge they can make stuff cheap which was the point of the comment.

          Eh to each his own. As someone posted above you could have that for around $144 included shipping plus cashback. Piece count is 4556.

          For comparison the Lego PEUGEOT 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar is around $250-$299 RRP and went on sale for $165-180. The reason why I am choosing this set because I've built it and while it was such a fun experience, I don't think it's worth the price I bought.

          Lego pricing is very poor practice if you ask me but they've conditioned their adult collectors to accept it. That's what happens in a space where there's no real competitions. Of course I am not saying that the Chinese sets are superior in terms of building experience and stability but piece per dollar ratio and the display value, I'd say it's worth it.
