Use XJAN2025 for an additional 10% off

    • Thanks updated

    • Code doesn't seem to work for me, but gives me "Sign in or Link Rewards Card to use code". I'm signed in (although I don't have a Rewards card).

      • +1

I have a Rewards Card and it works. Code is one-time use only.

        • Thanks. I signed up for a Rewards card then it worked.

Ended up buying the Orchid and Chrysanthemum for about $35.10 each, they look great!

It's already 39$ on Amazon. Is 10% off coupon is the only thing that makes it a deal?

    • +1

Same, good choices for $70 all up. My local had them in stock.

Should add some colour to the place and don't need watering:P

Ordered plum blossom and the chrysanthemum - thanks OP and commenters!

    Sold out :(

    • Works on some I tried, (Everyday Extra 10% off). Local stores had stock for C&C.

    • +1

Still showing in stock for me both in store and online.

      • +2

Yeah I was wrong. Looks like they won't deliver to me because my closest store is out of stock.

  • Nice, ordered the Mini Orchid and the Cute Bunny with my discount for the month. I had already ordered the Lucky Bamboo with the free gift offer at Myer. There have been quite a lot of tempting small sets in the latest January release.

    • There's a monthly discount? How do you get that?

      • It's the 10% Everyday Rewards discount you get once a month.

Thanks OP, got one! This will be better than trying to replace the real plants I can never keep alive 😭

Thanks, ordered plum blossom, bamboo, chrysanthemum and orchid for pick up.

      • Depends on where you set your store. Penrith still showing available for me.

Godammit OzB, had to buy all 4 sets to complete the Four Gentlemen.

    • That’s how Lego get you!

    • Same boat here. I just bought all four, but at 10% off, which I am happy with.
Previously I could only find the Plum Blossom and Chrysanthemum at $39 and the Bamboo and Mini Orchid at $50.

    • Sounds like the Amazon price. $35 at Big W (-10% with ER card), unless your store has no stock.

Anyone else think about the effort/reward ratio of dusting it off when buying decorative items.

    • +1

yeah instead requiring watering they need dusting. Can of compressed air would be alright every 3 - 6 months.

      • +3

To be fair, I had a variant of a lucky bamboo that grew to about 1m in length. I had to move it to the showers to wash off its dusty leaves every month or so. Eventually I moved it out of my room and unfortunately it was placed in direct sunlight and died.

Where do you get the dust from if they are indoors? Maybe you need an air filter if dusting is a necessity in your house. My issue with the bamboo is them being chewed up repeatedly by the cat, so I moved them outdoors under the shade.

      • overtime everything gets dusty.. wouldn't worry too much.

        • If house isn't airtight and if no filters or filters haven't been replaced then yeah. Highly recommended to get a non-ionising filter.

            • @G-rig: I never shut my windows, nor have I had to dust my plants even when I lived in the cbd where it was constantly building everywhere. Maybe it’s the direction of the windows.

              • @Alley Cat: As long as there is gravity there will not be zero dust.
I'm not too worried about it.

Old make up brush works really well too. Dust just flies off.

      Real plants need dusting too

Random pedantic factoid of the day: lucky bamboo is not actually bamboo. (Lego bamboo is also not actually bamboo.)

  • While pondering this last night it ran out of stock for delivery, so I ordered click and collect. Dunno when I'll actually get to it, but that's birthday gifts sorted. Cheers, OP.

I tell you what, we kill every plant we buy for home even bamboo.. but I reckon I might have a chance of keeping a lego bamboo looking healthy. ;)

    • good luck! 😜

  • Thanks been waiting for this one to stock somewhere and even better there's a deal!

  • back in stock!

  • Still in stock at quite a few locations.
