  • I adore this mouse.

Replaced my g403 prodigy wireless; this is better in every way, personally.

Battery life lasts ages and charges quickly too.

Does this need software installed? If so are there any similar priced wireless mice(sub $70) that don't need software installed?

    • It does if you want to modify it; stock it works fine out of the box.

  • +2

    FYI, it's 68g, 3398, 160hr battery

    • And $39. Crazy how far we have come on this small front…

  • Would this mouse be a good replacement for an ageing g pro x superlite. Seems like a replica or is there better alternatives?

    • Too heavy.
Superlight is 60g. Weight matters for aiming.

    • I'd say so. Even being a little heaver, if you're talking about the older first gen superlight then these would definitely be an upgrade; 1k polling rate vs 8k on these.

I am literally using that mouse and I would not recommend it for the following reasons:
    1. obscure software (nearly impossible to find)
    2. on wakeup, it takes a few minutes for the mouse to start working (how the …did it wake it up in the first place)
    3. Quite glitchy software when you do find the right one
    4. There is a secret Bluetooth mode…meaning they are intentionally hiding it.

    • +2

Would love more info on that Bluetooth mode…

      • I can't find where I found it but essentially, when I trying to find the software and troubleshooting the delayed mouse activation, I remember a YouTube review mentioning some button combination to make it work.

        • As a warning for anyone: Don't buy this expecting bluetooth as I have yet to find the info/review stating this secret mode for the vt9pro……

Also don't worry I bought my first vt9pro back in November 23, so I bought it and a second one because I'm satisfied with it(as a lightweight rechargeable mouse)…..

Sams criticism may well be valid for their experience though….. Never experienced the wake issue, but I turn my mouse off/on with the computer so maybe its a standby issue.

    • Few minutes?!

Ive used this mouse for one a year and haven't had these issues..

However recently replaced with a similar Bluetooth mouse for about $50.. vxe dragonfly R1.

    • I've got two for working. One at home, one in my bag. Nothing mentioned above happen to me. Stop trolling.

Yes, I am trolling to the point that I got a discount from Amazon that made it half this price. The rest of Logitech and Razer I have are fine. Likely due to the stupid LED light on the dongle indicating the battery state of charge.

This is me going against the raPOO reviews and paid the price. I am sure you don't have this model as the other rapoo I had returned (Rapoo MT760) didn't have that issue.

So, I am sure you are annoyed your precious mouse choice doesn't review well.

Sorry bro. I have hobbies collecting and trying all those discounted mouse posted here on this web. I not only have this one, but also the so called 1k and 4k version. All works fine. So I says here YOU ARE TROLLING. But it's fine you can stick with your fancy logi and razer. I just find it's very boring stick with my logi one for more than 5 yrs without broken. You have a great day.

  • Really good value, matching (or even cheaper than) its price in China.

  • Should just buy a VXE R1 Pro at this price, much better build quality.

  • I believe it comes with free mouse grip tape too. Very good value comparing with similar prce band.

  • 4k receiver $11.19
Wireless charging module on AliExpress for US$8.99 (plus GST), adds 3 grams apparently
They have a contact charging base too, the P5

  • I have just started using this mouse and compared to the G502 lightspeed that I also have it is significantly lighter. feels slightly smaller as well in my hand. id prefer the G502 for a daily driver. The thumb rest and smooth scroll wheel are the main gripes with the lack in the rapoo.
