iPhone 15 brings you Dynamic Island, a 48MP Main camera and USB-C — all in a durable colour-infused glass and aluminium design.

Key Features

Dynamic Island Comes to iPhone 15
Dynamic Island bubbles up alerts and Live Activities — so you don’t miss them while you’re doing something else. You can see who’s calling, track your next ride, check your flight status and so much more.

Innovative Design
iPhone 15 features a durable colour-infused glass and aluminium design. It’s splash, water- and dust-resistant.1 The Ceramic Shield front is tougher than any smartphone glass. And the 6.1″ Super Retina XDR display2 is up to 2x brighter in the sun compared to iPhone 14.

48mp Main Camera With 2x Telephoto
The 48MP Main camera shoots in super-high resolution. So, it’s easier than ever to take stand-out photos with amazing detail. The 2x optical-quality Telephoto lets you frame the perfect close-up.

Next-Generation Portraits
Capture portraits with dramatically more detail and colour. Just tap to shift the focus between subjects — even after you take the shot.

Powerhouse A16 Bionic Chip
The superfast chip powers advanced features like computational photography, fluid Dynamic Island transitions and Voice Isolation for phone calls. And A16 Bionic is incredibly efficient to help deliver great all-day battery life.3

USB-C Connectivity
The USB-C connector lets you charge your Mac or iPad with the same cable you use to charge iPhone 15. You can even use iPhone 15 to charge Apple Watch or AirPods.

Vital Safety Features
If you need emergency services and you don’t have mobile network connection or Wi-Fi, you can use Emergency SOS via satellite.4 With Crash Detection, iPhone can detect a severe car crash and call for help if you can’t.5

Designed To Make a Difference
iPhone comes with privacy protections that help keep you in control of your data. It’s made from more recycled materials to minimise environmental impact. And it has built-in features that make iPhone more accessible to all.

Don't you love it when big phone companies gate keep software to new products, Google has done similar things with their newer phones.

i call it money grabbing bs. they should upgrade the ram to 12 GB instead

The new iPhone 16 is only $150 more and is a reasonable upgrade - chip is 2 generations newer, 2gb more ram, better camera and supports apple intelligence. No way would I buy a regular 15 now. 15 Pro is still a good option for the right price.

    • +2

Agree. The regular 15 dropped to $1249 for that reason. Normal price now. We should see deals for under 1K as the new iphone 16 is a pretty good improvement.

    • Maybe you were dropped…

        Um what?

Apple fanboiz be like "But the differences are incredible"

        • As opposed to the s24u vs the s23u vs the s22u? Or the Pixel 7, 8 and 9 series? Phones have gotten so good that there is no way to actually improve other than fairly minor upgrades like camera, battery life and performance. The real upgrade been in the software through AI which even Apple has adopted. The iPhone 16 for once looks so much more promising than the standard s24. The iPhone 16 has new hardware features through the action button and dedicated camera button. What does the s24 have? Absolutely nothing distinctive about it. Doesn't even come with the unique S-Pen feature.

Are you going to talk about how they maintain the same design for a while now. Well congrats to them, they found an iconic design that works well for their branding. Doesn't the same thing apply to pretty much every other phone company? If you're going to make a claim like that, atleast justify it with your reasons instead of a baseless, sarcastic comment. It's shit like this that convinces me that some android users (typically Samsung) has some sort of superiority complex. Before you call me an Apple fanboy, I'm currently using an S20+ and have never even used an Apple product in my life.

          • @NotReallyaMoneySaver: S24 has a double tap of the power button to bring up the camera, The S9 had an action button back some 5 years ago, they got rid of it because, well there were too many buttons. It's a classic case of Apple rebranding things that Samsung has already had.

Literally everything about the Iphone was is now the software/AI, which in itself will be rolled out to the 15, 14, 13 etc… 90% of the features the average person won't even use. Even Siri is stuck in the dark ages.

@Drakesy: iPhone got so good that it has so many haters. They just need to hate iPhone to feel good about themselves lol.

              • @Saku-kurata: not exactly.
I think the hatred is against the iSheep not the Iphone.

It just gets annoying when again and again your mates discover and boast about some new feature on their Iphone although I showed them the same feature on my android 5+ years ago. And when I point that out they just dismiss it and keep on drooling. The annoyance slowly grows into hatred for being gaslighted for years.
(I own both Samsung and Apple phones, ThinkPad and a MacBook)
