I've had quite a few things sent via DHL and never been had a quarantine issue (it's all beeen new stuff). What reasons were they giving you for quarantining?
My fee was for a new office chair sent from the US through a freight forwarding company. Reason was random inspection.
Pity they have no revolution, just ran out.
And cross your fingers you don't get the DHL 'quarantine processing fee' of $47.30. Although you can get out of it if you complain.
