  • Great deal..

  • Exide equivalent at Bunnings is cheaper and had 42 months and higher cc and Rc

    • Bought one SuperCharge Gold Plus MF75D23L for about $180 (20% off + 10% discount Ultimate gift card) at Autobarn 2 months ago.

Exide is made in Phillipines, Century test CCAs at -18 deg C, the others can claim high CCA depending what conditions they are testing the battery. Also the 42 months warranty is not off the bat, öne has to register the product online to get the extended 6 months warranty, original warranty is 36 months

      • It says on battery, plus it's bunnings.. And get money back or swap. Never had any problems

        • Good on you bro!
The deal is on Century though and yeah Exide is not a bad brand at all

Not saying this isn't a good deal, but….

It seems highly specific: only one model of battery, that fits only a narrow range of vehicles, at only one store.

And it's not like the kind of item you stockpile (like Eneloops), so you have to have a specific need at the specific time of the sale.

But, yeah, probably a good price for the very small number of people who may need this, who live close enough to that one particular little part of town (I mean, you can't put a car battery in an Express Post pack).

Yes exide at bunnings is much better value.

  • Got any deals on a DIN100 size battery?

    • Right now we don't have but call the store and we will get you the best price possible

  • I know you cannot compare trade pricing to retail but holy shit the mark up on batteries is absolutely insane. Strongly recommend the MF75D23 from Supercharge, use them in work cars and they last donkeys. Century have been less than stellar in my experience, they really do not like sitting for more than a few days, if its a daily drive then you should be sweet though.

  • Way way better deal. Save yourself $60 and get a better battery. Century batteries arent what they used to be sadly.
