    Note: These are not light bags. Most airlines have a 7kg carry on weight limit, and these are 3kg and 3.4kg respectively, nearly half your weight allowance is gone before you put a tissue in one. The old Samsonite Lite Shock 55cm bags were only 1.7kg.

      Agree, if these bags can't beat the good ol' Samsonite Lite Shock, then it is definitely not a cabin bag imho. I owned two lite shocks and believe me, the amount you can put is amazing compared to the "heavier" carry on luggage.

    Volant is made out of Polycarbonate, Oc2lite is HS POLYPROPYLENE(INJ).

    Comparing the same size, Oc2lite is lighter.

      From bitter experience I can say to avoid polycarbonate and instead go polypropylene. Polycarbonate gets brittle when cold and two of my American Tourister cases have cracks from baggage handlers.
