  • I have one 4k 32inch, is it recommended to use this 24inch vertically as side monitor?

I have two 16:10 Dell 24" vertically side by side of my 4k 32" Dell.

The male anatomy setup. Bold move.

      • @superforever
i tried to put my 22" 1680x1050 in vertical mode but i feel its too narrow (ms outlook).

        • i tried to put my 22" 1680x1050

          I have 24" 16:10, should be better than 16:9

          • @superforever: ok let me think if i should upgrage. edit. i just found that my thinkpad dock can only support up to 2 monitors (plus the laptop screen). which dock you have that able to output to 3 external monitors?

              @CyberMurning:

which dock you have that able to output to 3 external monitors?

              I have a desktop.

        • 16:10 ftw! I have the same size/res screen. I didn't think anyone still had these.

"accurate colour reproduction" - on a $99 monitor. rofl.

    • Well it is 99% sRGB, not horrific

      • Yes, and sRBG is a joke. Try Adobe RBG.

  • Aldi just had these for $99 last week

Someone should bring in 24 inch QHD 165hz monitors into the OZ market.

      Do you prefer 24"?

      • Yes, for my viewing distance, which is only about 70 cm. I tried 27" before and while the real estate is great for productivity work, watching action movies or playing fast paced games can be a little overwhelming at that distance.

Plus at 24" QHD, you get to experience very close to a 4k quality-like visuals on a 27".

FWIW the "IPS" branding has been seriously diluted to include traditional TFTs. No idea about this particular model, but at this price buyers should be expecting to take advantage of Amazon's return policy.

    • What should you look for to get the genuine article?

      • Realistically, only reviews and in-store display models.

I like the fact they have photos of a curved screen on the Good Guys website:

    Images dramatised for illustrative purposes.

Guess that means don't try bending your monitor at home?

  • Basically perfect for a personal PS4 Pro monitor.

  • good stuff. going to local the good guys to get two tomorrow.

    Freesync:

    Needs Display port

    Ports:

    HDMI, D-Sub

    • +1

A quick search showed that FreeSync is available via HDMI as well

They're $99 direct from LG. Is this just RRP?

  • This deal or https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/865686? Which is a better monitor please?

  • No height adjustment?
