Hey Oz Bargain Community,

We've seen a notable uptick in full priced orders of our fantastic South Central Blend in recent months, so I thought it was about time we featured it in a deal, especially given we very rarely discount it. In fact it's been over 3.5 years since we last offered a discount on this wonderful blend. This blend sure is a special one and some of our customers absolutely swear by it. We have customers who've placed dozens of orders with us and only even order our South Central Blend, so if you haven't yet tried it, hopefully this deal will present the perfect opportunity for you!

We're offering you a 40% discount off much loved and rarely discounted South Central Blend:

1) South Central Blend, only $26.70 per 1kg (usually $44.50 per 1kg) and only $15.75 per 500g (usually $26.25 per 500g)

Deal valid for orders placed until 10/09/2024, unless sold out before. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Monday and as far as the last Thursday in October (31/10/2024). Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

I don’t know how you guys are doing it! I’ve tried a bunch of different beans from you and they’ve all been great, significantly better than other frequent discounters on Ozbargain

WOW @papagoose thank you so much for that wonderfully uplifting vote of confidence, it's truly appreciated!!!

I'm thrilled to know we're firmly in your good books, I promise we'll keep working hard to stay there and will never take you for granted :)

p.s. I think you'll hopefully love the Lime Blue Coffee developments currently in the works (lots going on in the background). As we only compete against ourself, there's a huge amount of things we're currently working on to further improve the Lime Blue Coffee experience…

    • Agreed, up there with Inglewood, but the decaf is the worst of them

Thank you for another deal! Any chance you can drop the free shipping minimum to the price of 2x 1kg bags? I just don't have enough freezer space to store 3kg of coffee!

    • Order 2 kg and a 500g

      • Spot on @Deal-Sniper appreciate the solution assist @ $69.15 your solution nicely unlocks free shipping :)

Morning @anthman terrific to know this deal's a winner for you!

Never hurts to ask, but it's just not financially viable to drop the threshold currently as it poses too much of a risk that we'll make a loss on the overall deal. We do our best to keep margins relatively thin, but if we go too thin and end up on the wrong side of the wire there'd be no more Lime Blue which means no more deal's like this. There's huge swings in what we get charged for shipping due to different company network strengths e.g. take 1kg for example hypothetically it could cost us around $8 to ship 1kg to a certain location, but 1kg to another location it may cost us over $20; one carrier may charge us $8 to do a delivery and another carrier may charge $18 for the same delivery; one carrier may charge $16 to do a delivery to a location, but our only real option for that delivery is a different carrier for $20 as the lower cost carrier doesn't have a strong network in that area…these are just relatively random numbers but the swings are on par. In essence our financial goal is to make an overall profit when all orders are put together, rather than a profit on every single order. A profit on every single order doesn't work with $6.99 flat rate shipping Australia Wide and $0 for $69 orders and we don't want to have to make the flat rate shipping costs high or have various shipping rates for customers depending on the delivery location.

A potential solution for you, which a number of our customers do, is simply split an order with a neighbour, friend, family member or colleague :)

  • First time trying this blend, will try it in the office!

Any update on the calendar system as mentioned here? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/14424481/redir

Amazing, thank you so much for another terrific order for yourself and your team!!!

Appreciate the check in, still in the background works, hopefully there'll be an update on that tech relatively soonish, but the all out solution is still a little way off :)

  • Morning LBC- I love your Brazilian, didn't enjoy M2M and ended up binning the recent Geisha (I must have a poor person's palate)…what are your thoughts on whether I may enjoy this one? Tasting notes seen similarish. Budget has been looking better so am better placed to treat myself again with your beans.

Morning @bxpressiv wonderful to know you "love" our Brazil Single Origin, you're not alone on that one!

I completely appreciate personal flavour preference is subjective, but I'm a bit astounded that you didn't enjoy Moments, simply based on your enjoyment of our Brazil, as such I suspect your extraction may have needed a tweak (please know you're always welcome to email through any extraction queries). The Geisha enjoyment level doesn't reflect your palate budget level at all haha it's just notably different, most coffees are somewhere between chocolate and fruit. What makes Geisha so unique is that it's flavour notes are firmly in the floral corner of the spectrum. Based on your enjoyment of our Brazil, this one should be a winner for you too, but it is a bit fruiter and has a slightly higher acidity kick. If you're looking for chocolate chocolate chocolate notes, then Brazil (and our Swiss Water Process Decaf) may be your best bet, but if you don't mind some fruity notes in the background and a bit higher acidity kick then give this one a go :)

  • Hey Tom, here’s a side hustle suggestion for you: start selling freezers to store all this great coffee everyone is buying!
    Me orders yet another Kg…

    • Morning @Chazzozz absolute fantastic to get another order from you, your continued support is truly appreciated!!!

Love that we're on the same page, in the same book….it's a terrific idea (well at least I think it is) and it was something I briefly explored a while back. However, I quickly discovered it would not quite sneak in as a "side hustle" due to all the regulations/paperwork/testing that would be needed to be able to get freezers custom built specifically to keep the good stuff fresh and then allowed into Australia to sell. I didn't even into the minutia (likely an huge understatement) of the amount of capital required to get a venture such as that in motion. Great news is it's just on the backburner and I haven't abandoned the idea quite yet. There's actually a company I relatively recently came across which imports small, customised, portable fridges; not sure if they have the same expertise in the freezer game, but perhaps when I get time (I need to find that elusive 25th hour in the day haha) I could throw out the idea of a JV to them :)

  • Thanks, just in time as my current supply is due to run out within about a week and I was wanting to try somewhere different.

Looking forward to trying this and your Peru SO :).

    • Absolutely fantastic to hear, love it when timing lines up nicely!

That you so much for giving this one a shot and placing another terrific order, fingers crossed this one and our Peru SO are real winners for you :)

  • First world problems when you already have 2.5kg of Colombia Cauca Single Origin on delayed dispatch for 1/10/24 :D

    • haha life's tough at the top!

You can always line up some South Central for dispatch 31/10 and in the mean time clear some freezer space to keep the good stuff nice and fresh, just some food (coffee) for thought :)
