  • The time is now people!

    • anyone having issues with these lately? im not sure if it's a recent software update, but frequently having glitches from on-call transfers to & from this, that i have to keep the call and redial.
Edit: had it for close to 6 months with no issues. This is just recent like since a few weeks ago.
Edit2: same with while watching youtube sometimes. Speaker to airpods doesn't automatically switch like it used to be.

        Mine is working fine

  • They're $295 at JB, but it doesn't say it's on sale. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/apple-airpods-pro-with-ma…

    Great price for excellent earphones.

  • Pro 3s are next year I think :(

Are these worth it??? I’m still running the first gen AirPods I bought in 2017 but they only hold 1hr charge. I know I need new ones but I’m also a tight ass.

    • +1

yes for sure the difference is night and day especially the bass quality and noise cancellation

  • Thanks! Can we do a TRS claim from things purchased through Amazon?

    • +3

Only if the combined total is >$300.

      • Cool thanks

        • Oh and must be same seller (Same ABN), so dont buy these for 293 and then grab something from a different seller.

          • @ATangk: Noted

          • @ATangk: correct, in this case if sold by amazon then all under same ABN.

          • @ATangk: I bought 2 of the same item. Each cost less than $300.
They were both sent from the same location and delivered the same time by Amazon Flex delivery. The seller was Amazon Au. Each has it's own invoice and Amazon refused to combine them as one. Told Amazon CSR that I need them both one one invoice for TRS refund. They told me to talk to TRS as it is a TRS problem.

@ca6leguy: You dont need them on the same invoice, they just need to have the same ABN, and both be within 60 days of travel. You could buy 300 $1 items separately on 300 invoices and have that pass off as TRS. The guy will hate you but itll work.

  • wtf why does officeworks near mine say they dont price match amazon but everyone else on this site say they do…?

    • +3

      They B.S.

OW even Price beat Costco as long as you hold a valid membership. Whoever said they don't price beat Amazon probably didn't recieve proper training.

    • At least they won't match on non Amazon AU as sellers; like Amazon US/UK/Japan and 3rd party sellers.

      • Yeah I always price match with sold by and from Amazon AU. Same with EBGames sometimes they do and sometimes they say it has to be within the same center and have stock like… I will just go buy it there then lol they dont even price beat they just price match.

    • It happens .. Bunnings did this with me - one location said they don’t price beat Costco as it’s American brand and they do bulk purchase and all that. But other location didn’t have any issues. I also managed to see on Bunnings computer screen that they had a specific option for Costco as a valid store to do price beat. So not sure why the previous location guys said they can’t price beat Costco.

  • How am I supposed to get price beat at 00:10 from Officeworks - I seriously doubt their price match line is open. Also Amazon are notorious for removing discounts with zero notice.

  • Damn, was going to go to OW to price beat this morning. Now Amazon no longer have it available and OW and JB is showing $399.

  • Dang! It was just under $300 everywhere last week but I missed the TCN Gift from Woolies, now all back to $340+ 🫠
