    Matching Big W

    No more price beat. 😔

  • +3

Damn. Just as I was about to walk into OW to price beat….

    • +1

      You SnooZ, you LooZ….

    • +4

You wouldn’t have had much luck anyway considering Big W don’t list the model number on their website which OW need to price beat.

  • Too late. At least I can enjoy OnePass benefits?

  • Is it worth the upgrade? I'm still using the 2nd gen original AirPods and they work just fine. Should probably just wait till they finally die.

    • +2

these are a 10/10 upgrade for you.

    • +1

I prefer the 2nd gen AirPods for general use as they’re more comfortable for me. Sound quality is obviously much better with the pros as they’re in ear, but they’ll be less comfortable for me.

looks like we’re getting a new AirPod pro refresh this year.

    • Why is this negged?

      • +9

Not the negger but AirPod Pro Gen 3’s aren’t expected until 2025 (and September at that)

    • +1

What refresh? It’s more likely for the pro max still using lightning port

  • This or wait for the sony/bose earbuds to go on sale?

    • If you invested in Apple ecosystem, this may work better for several scenarios.

      • I do have iPhone, iPad and MacBook, I had jabra elite but they lost the battle to the washing machine, so I’m currently in the market looking for a new pair

Consider looking at eBay. I ordered AirPods Pro 2nd Gen usb-c case for $200 from the following last week. They arrived in 3-4 days. There are other sellers selling AirPods Pro 2nd gen for similar or even less. I have no idea how they are selling them so cheaply.

Most likely fakes. If it's too good to be true…

    • +6

I just made an account to reply to you

Dude, I have some bad news for you, 95% of AirPods sold on there are fake that's why they are so cheap. people buy 1:1 reps of airpods and sell them for dirt cheap on eBay and marketplace and that's why selling AirPods are now banned on marketplace.

      • I replied elsewhere, but I got them earlier this week. They are real.

        • Or not. Yeah, see my other post, they are indeed fake.

  • As I said, they arrived earlier this week. They are real. Maybe I just got lucky.

    • The reason you’re saying this is because you checked the serial number?

      • Yeah, the serial number indicated it was real, but I did more digging, and they are indeed fake. I underestimated the quality of fake AirPods. The two things that ultimately convinced me was the sound it plays when going to transparency mode, adaptive mode, and noise cancelling is wrong, and it does not have the advanced ultrawideband "find my".

I am returning them, but they are incredible, the transparency and noise cancelling modes seem to work fine… It's unfortunate they are not just sold as non-apple headphones. They are significantly better than other wireless headphones I have bought.

        • Yeah the quality of rep AirPods are incredible now days with the Chinese factories even taking serial numbers from real AirPods and they don’t even sound half bad.
