      I think it's because they are so much taller than your average sports shoes. I gave a pair of Bondi a try for a month and I couldn't get used to them. Ended up in the cupboard as a pair of spare shoes for the last 6 months.

        While it does indeed have a big just stack height, its the way it rolls and feels like a ball strapped to your foot. Definitely wouldn't buy these online without knowing it's right for you.

        They're all over the place, I moved to them from Asics and have been pretty happy. I think I've got 5 pairs, including one I wear pretty much every work day which are almost two years old and do about 10,000-15,000 steps a day, they've only recently gotten to the point where they need to be replaced.

      Hoka is legit. My wife is a podiatrist and considers Hoka shoes overall to be very good.

    Kogan also have Clifton for $159 (first members) or $169 (non members). they have more sizes available, although some are pre-sale and ship in a couple weeks
