Item main description/heading says 16GB RAM, but listing item specifics says 8GB and the system info screenshot says 8GB. Likley will be 8GB.

I asked the seller and got this reply:

Sorry for the mistake; I have uploaded the correct photo. It comes with 16GB DDR4 RAM.

be good to know if it had 8 or 16gb, and also came with wifi. Seems to be a usb wifi attached at the back.

this guy has some different configs for about the same money…or much less if you can handle win10 only!

About the item shows 8 gb RAM and 256 HARD DISK, buyers beware.

  • The size looks to be larger (about 1.5x thicker?) than the Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer ones?

    • +1

It has a cd drive and power supply built in.

    • It's 18 mm fatter, so that's exactly 1.5x thicker. It's 54 mm but the Dell is 36 mm.

But if you put into a bag to consider the size including the external power supply or cable, it's probably similar volume anyway?

Be aware that these Fujitsu are not as reliable as the HP/Dell micro boxes in my experience (power supply failures and it's built in).
The seller has a no return policy.

I have a Q556, the fan runs much quieter compared to the HP, Lenovo and Dell boxes of similar age, so I personally prefer these instead of the Dell ones. It doesn't make any difference if you shove it into a network closet, but in a quiet room the Dell boxes are a little annoying to me.

  • I am new to mini-PC, Would this work for a Plex server?

  • I can't view the ebay listing on my work network, but do these only have DP for video output and no HDMI? Might be an important factor for potential buyers

    • Not a factor, DisplayPort converts to HDMI https://www.amazon.com.au/Wavlink-Display-Adapter-MacOS-Wind…

      • Okay so add $20 to the price if you need an HDMI output. Wouldn't say "not a factor" though

        • You also need to add $20 to the price for a mouse, $20 for a keyboard, $20 for a monitor, $20 for an HDMI cable 🤷🏼‍♂️

I don't think any of these are factors either.

@Nom: Those aren't normally included on a PC, unlike an hdmi port

      • aren't there 2 types of DP? To quote stuff I copied from the internet:
For the record the Display Port signal is not compatible with HDMI. If the DisplayPort output is a Dual mode DisplayPort then it has the ability to recognize and adjust the signal to HDMI when a passive adapter cable is connected.

So are you sure these have dual mode? Some systems indicate they are by having a + sign on the DP. Given this system doesn't have usb 3.1 or usb c, it might be too old to have the DP+. Be good to know for sure.
        Definitely a consideration imho.

        • None of that matters if you use an Active adaptor like the one I linked.

Active adaptors work with both types.

  • The second listing for 9100T has two storages, 256GB NVMe + 500GB SATA, but doesn't specify if it's HDD or SSD for the larger drive.

Personally I'd still choose the 9100T for such a similar price over the 8100T.

  • Yeah damn that 9100T was actually a ripper deal. Ah well.
