Had this pop up on my Facebook page last night, thought it was a pretty good deal for a five-star hotel in Bangkok.
Many dates are still available in 2012/13, but they seem to be selling fast at this price.

Another thing, this website does NOT include taxes and hotel charges in their headline rate, so while at first glance some of the deals look great compared to other websites, when you click through to make a booking then all the extra charges are added on. Not a dealbreaker, since Agoda does the same thing, just be aware that things will cost more than it first appears!
Based on the info from tripadvisor, it is a 4 star hotel, not 5 star, hotel has great reviews.

Thanks Flying Ace, I just booked it, it's really good deal!!
I actually stayed here a month or so ago during a SE asia tour. Its a nice hotel, but totally geared up for business travellers. Felt out of place rocking up in shorts and singlet. Also its not in a great spot, long walk to anything of interest and to the nearest train station.
Yes its a cheap price for a nice hotel. Would I recommend it for those using as a base for seeing Bangkok? No.
Would love to be able to use this deal but have no trips to Thailand planned. We have stayed there before. We had the two bedroom suite. It was lovely and the buffet breakfast was beautiful. It was a little far from some touristy places but the sky train was close by.
Thanks for the comments! I have now broken my OzBargain virginity.
Unfortunately I too do not have any trips to Thailand planned, so couldn't take advantage of these prices :-(
THANK YOU - This is a very good deal.
I booked 3 nights in April for some water splashing experience during Thai New year.
FYI: there is almost not thing left during dec-jan-feb
Thanks for posting, we'll be in bangkok for a week in jan. I think we won't pick this one, a little far from things and my wife wants to stay around Siam square for the shopping, but there's quite a few other hotels on sale in better locations too on this website.
Is this site reliable for bookings? Usually we use booking.com and agoda and haven't had any problems with them.
