[eBay Plus, Commbank Yello] Logitech MX Master 3S Wireless Mouse (Graphite) $98 Delivered @ Logitechshop eBay

710

Been waiting on a deal for the MX Master 3s. Saw a price drop on Logitech eBay shop with the Commbank Yello $10 off $100 spent voucher (may be targeted) brought this down to $98.

I believe there’s also a $10 voucher for eligible eBay Plus member to bring this down to $98 as well.

Thanks a bunch OP! Had this on watch for a couple weeks :)
Signed up for the 30 day free trial of eBay Plus and the $10 code was under the “more details” link. FYI I had to screenshot and copy the text on mobile.

    Logitechshop

Man I wish I could pick this item up just to meet fast Eddie again and see what he's like nowadays.

I wonder how tall his pile of ciggy ash is, it's been 15 years since I've last been there and it was already pretty nuts

Need a Logitechshop x Broden collab

If only you could stack the codes

  • Seems that everything in the logitech shop over $100 gets $10 off, or at least with eBay Plus. Pity they dont sell the Bolt USB receivers cheaply as they are quite pricey if you dont have one.

One downside of this and earlier visions of MX is the rubber coating worn easily, and sometimes become sticky. After all these years they have not found a more durable coating.

    • Presumably tech dinosaurs just want to keep the urethane coating to sell more products

      • Whoever neg'd likes sticky urethane :D

    • That's my prob with it, is on the heavy side too.

  • how reliable are the switches on these? They're mechanical and the previous Logi mice I owned all were mechanical and eventually had ghost or double clicks.

    • i have a 3s

      and a 2s

and i think i have an anywhere 2s or 3s around somewhere

the 2s is working fine but grubby of course… cheeto dust

i think the master series is something i buy without a 2nd thought given how well they work

also no subscription which is good!

    • This is the first personal use mouse I have bought in 7 years. I’ve used the G502 and G703, only “complaint” is the rubber that has worn off over time but considering the use over the years I’m not overly phased.
I’ve used the MX Master 3s at work for a year now and no concerns of ghost clicks or battery life etc.

      Edit: model name of mouse

    • Hmm same, i do have and still use MX 3 (not s), and got only 1 mode of scroll works, can not go to the rigged scroll one

Still unsure if i want to spend $98 for the scroll

  • I wish someone could fix the mac connectivity issues. I’m using the MX, MX for Mac and now MX 3S but they all have have the same stuttering issues when connected to my mac mini 2, especially when my phone is on the desk 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

    • Mine is connected to mac mini and have no issues

      • Are you using the dongle? Try bluetooth

        • I have been using bluetooth for almost a year without issues. M1 macbook pro

    • Yes I have the same thing happen, I just turn off the mouse for a sec and that fixes it until next time.
Bluetooth and the receiver have the same issue.

    • This happens under Opensuse Tumbleweed for me too, mouse power cycle fixes it

  • yeah i use these at work are they worth it for games though?

    • Too heavy for gaming and I notice quite a bit of input latency (the 125Hz polling rate doesn't help) - I'm not even talking competitive, sweaty FPS games, it's noticeable regardless of what you're playing.

So I have a gaming mouse and my MX Master 3S on the table and I switch whenever I'm playing games

      • yeah there really isn't on that can do both gaming and productivity well its either one or the other, I just hate swaping mouses lol

I'm still using the original MX Master I got in 2015. Fairly worn out but still functional including the battery which lasts over 2 weeks. Been tempted many times to get a new one but I think I'll wait again.

    • thats pretty good. not sure what happened to mine but after 4 years it got to the point where i had to keep it plugged in to use it.

    • I'm in the same boat. I want to replace it. But also want to see how long this one will last

    • My side button got stuck badly due to rotting rubber. Held together with gaffa. Now upgraded.

For those missed out and happy to pay $10 more and prefer Amazon, Amazon has now reduced their price to $108 to match Logitech eBay

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0B11LJ69K/ref=ewc_pr_i…

    • $130.00

      • That didn’t last long!

  • So annoyed, got the MX Master 3S a few months ago. Liked it (within reason), needed another for work so bought a MX Master 3 - on the same amazon listing it just shipped sooner, black not grey.
The former has soft noiseless clicks the latter has loud mechanical clicks - pretty much no way to have known :/

    • The S indicates whether it is silent click or not.

      There's an MX 3 and MX 3S

      • Right! Of course it does.
I thought the MX 3C stood for clicky.

  • I am noticing this is not as smooth on the mouse mat as my old Master MX. Are there covers over the bottom pads that need to be removed? I am unsure.

    • This is my first Master MX so I can't really comment on that but I do have a G502 for gaming and it's pretty much the same when used on mouse pad.

    • I've noticed the exact same thing. It feels like it's catching on my mouse mat? The pads seem slightly more raised that my work one.

      • Yep not as smooth as my current mx master 3s or old MX.
