Better option if you need USB-A as well: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CJ5V8BRL?th=1 (US though)

Yeah the dual drives are much better for all your devices. Similar pricing too.

Not a deal. 256GB is about $30 when on sale.

Can confirm - bought 256GB for $29 at end of last year (shipped jan 2024).

The key ring socket breaks fairly easily if you keep this in your pocket. Otherwise good device.

  • same $25 price at the good guys and $29 at jb who might price match if thats a better option for anyone

  • Incredibly slow to write to in my experience.

    • Yep but what do you expect at these pricepoints really, 256GB of same model is often this price range. You should be spending 3x as much for a fast 256GB one or look at an external ssd.

  • Got the 256gb one previously.
    Worked on android
Unfortunately still needed usb c dongle for ipad air 4.

    • Can you explain the problem with the iPad Air 4?

      • Out of the box, plugged in ipad usbc port. Not detected
Used a 7 in 1 usbc dock, ipad detected dock but not the drive.

Maybe a PD dock is required, but i dont have one with 2 usbc ports

Checked on laptop, the drive is in exFAT

        • Did you use the Files app to access it or?

          • @Lahmy88: The drive does not show up when i open Files app.
When i plug in a usb A drive along with the dock…i can see the drive appear in Files app

  • Will this work with iPad 10th gen (usb c slot) as external storage? Like to transfer file to and from the iPad
