      you need atleast 20kw solar system with at least 2 house batteries if you plan on getting your ev fully charged for free all the time.

      Some people even do a fully off the grid system jsut for there garage only.

          depends who you go with but its not cheap can be between 20k and 40k depending on brand and who installs it. thats solar panels and the house batteries and everything. its all about working out how much power you actually need at what time of the day

    I would prob go with Jinko 440w panels + Sungrow Inverter. It will be a bit more but worth it. Got mine installed from some other supplier but consistently hits max 5kw most of the day when the sky is nice and clear.
