The ASICS GEL-KAYANO 30 celebrates 30 years of innovative stability and cushioning. This revolutionary iteration of the iconic model focuses on delivering holistic, adaptive stability with premium comfort underfoot. It is ideal for runners looking for a combination of moderate support and high cushioning during their run.

The engineered Upper Knit material provides a comfy, stable fit and feel. The midsole features upgraded FF BLAST+ cushioning and a 4mm stack height increase, creating a cloud-like softness with each step. The innovative new 4D Guidance System stabilizes the foot with unique midsole geometry and design elements, such as a lateral decoupling groove, medial convex shape, a newly designed lateral guidance line, and midfoot foam for added comfort.

The strategic placement of new PureGEL technology under the heel offers increased shock absorption and a smoother ride, with a 65% softer feel compared to traditional visible GEL™ technology. Perfect for surprisingly smooth distance training.

Having enjoyed wearing a few of the previous Kayano models for runs of various lengths (e.g. parkrun, full marathons), I bought this model and ended up hating it. They've gone down the Hoka Cliftons route with this model with the thick foam, etc. - my Kayano 30s are now sitting in the wardrobe.

    • I could be wrong but with the 31s, they have gone back to their standard design and cushioning.

      30s weren't a popular design

What's wrong with the Clifton's? I am not an expert but I have been enjoying wearing the Clifton 9 more than the Bondi's 8. Or is it just me? I am happy to be corrected!

      • The Clifton's are great for walking, every day use, and short slowruns. But just far too squishy for long runs

    • What’s wrong with more foam?? I recently bought the Superblast 2 and now it’s the only shoe I want to run in. So comfortable and great energy return.

    • Wasnt a fan either. Luckily they appeared to have been used and i could return them to Amazon

for an extra $8 you could get the Kayano 31 delivered from running warehouse. Plenty of colours and sizes. $219.96 then use code ART15, $186.97

    • Code doesn't work anymore :(

  • Any suggestions for a good neutral runner as I wear orthotics? My New Balance are on their last legs

  • Kayano 26 or 27 were peak IMO. These look like junk.

  • Is this good for long walks?

  • Why are wide size only available in black and white???

  • I have pair of Kayano 25s and have been using it daily for 4-5 years now. They are really good for walking and also for decent hikes (I have not done hard ones, so can't commment about it). I love them.

I bought these about 6-7 months ago and they've been really bad. The form is making the foot less stable and walking is not that good with all the extra cousioning.
