  • I've got the earlier K380 version of the keyboard…..really portable, had no issues with Bluetooth connectivity (to MAC, Windows and even connecting to a phone), the battery lasts for ages and the keys are good to type with (but not good as a mechanical one obviously).

Only caveat is that there are no LED backlights to type in the dark, which is also why the battery lasts for a while on this keyboard.

  • Every single Logitech Mouse or Mouse Keyboard combo I've ever purchased has not lasted, yet this cheap Lenovo mouse combo I have at the moment has, the Lenovo set I have not, may have been designed for the English speaking Chinese domestic market as there's no English on the underside of it anywhere, only Chinese, the keyboard flexes when twisted more than it should …. yet I've had close to 2 yrs use without a problem, they are extremely efficient on batteries, the keyboard lasted on the original batteries it shipped with till recently, checked the voltage of those batteries when I changed thetwo AAA batteries and they measured 0.6v, same with the mouse when I change it's battery, the mouse only lasts about 6 months on a AA battery, can't say I've had the same experience with Logitech!

Don't get these keyboard/mouse designs which are built for aethetics over functionality. You spend way more time actually using these devices that looking at them, and that experience is far from enjoyable.

Get a serious mechanical keyboard with a proper / standard layout you don't need to learn with nice tactile/audio feedback and without the mushiness of these membrane style keyboards like this one. There are plenty of affordable options (e.g. Keychron or any of the import brand deals on here).

Also get a proper mouse with a nice arch rather than this pancake design, plenty of deals for e.g. Logitech brands but there are some great affordable options from imports (e.g. AJAZZ AJ199 for smaller hands, very afforable and great design/sensor. I have a larger hand and have been happy with VGN Dragonfly F1).

    • Can you suggest a particular model for mechanical keyboard? There are so many of them with different switches.
It will be my first, for everyday use (not specifically for gaming) with as many more keys as possible. Not very expensive 🙂.

It depends on the features you're after, layout and how much you're willing to pay. Can't really go wrong with most Keychron options. Some of the best deals tend to be limited runs or recent releases so have a look at what's new on YouTube. In general have a watch of some budget reviews which don't require much customisation / mods. I have a Monsgeek M1W I got for a good deal about half a year ago I've been very happy with.

Your experience is fine and valid, but on the other side, I keep this exact set to connect to my Steam Deck or laptop while I'm traveling. I can throw them into my backpack with the computer and deck and don't have to worry about mechanical keys popping off or weighing down my carry on at the airport. These look great, work well, and are light and multi device, meaning they meet all my needs. I get you don't like them, but the price is good and the down vote feels a bit unwarranted.

Fair enough, I'll revoke my downvote.
