  1. Set up an Indian Apple ID using your AU number to verify.

  2. Login into an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, using an Indian Apple ID via going to settings > Your name > Media and purchases.

  3. Buy Apple gift cards from Amazon India using your AU amazon account. Enter an Indian address (make sure indian address is selected) and use a virtual card from Wise. Load gift cards to your Apple ID.

  4. Open up NBA app and it will give you a prompt to subscribe with Indian pricing, without even logging into an account. You can also login into an account before subscribing, if you prefer to use it on other devices.

      I have the Turkish iOS nba league pass premium set up last year. It says on the subscription page that my renewal is 599.99, that’s about 26-27 dollars.

      I have bought 600 lira worth of Turkish Apple gift card and see if it will just deduct the money from my Apple account and continue the subscription

      Looking at previous posts, you don't need VPN to watch.

      inb4 anyone asks again: You don't need to connect to a VPN to watch.

      But hopefully someone who has previously had membership can confirm.

      Membership should link to your NBA profile, if you login before signing up and then you can log in on any device.

        You can watch games without VPN.. BUT… NBA seems to be cracking down on this stuff…

        As of last season they've detected most users who were doing this and converted our accounts back to AUD. This will likely happen again if you don't use VPN. Whether it will still work for at least a whole season without VPN is currently unclear… depends how hard NBA tries to crackdown.

    In the past India has been the cheapest but also required a VPN to watch. Other countries only VPN needed at sign up. Your Milage may vary

      I received an email yesterday saying that my subscription will renew for 2024-2025 in a month time, TRY 839.99 will be charged to my payment method on the file. I signed up to Turkey's via vpn last year.

      Not anymore, you will be able to get to the payment page but the card will fail. I have tried with multiple cards, multiple VPNS and multiple regions with no luck.

      Would always get one of two errors
      "Uh-oh, something went wrong" or "we can't process your transaction at this time, please try a new card or contact your financial institution"

        Incredible how they would rather block someone paying. I've happily paid $30-$50 for a pass in the past. If they want to make it difficult for me to pay a price I deem reasonable, which other countries can enjoy, then I have no choice but to raise my mast and sail the high seas.

    Has anyone who used the Turkish iTunes method last year received a renewal email? I haven't received anything yet so wondering if they'll ask me to renew in AUD (I don't have iTunes credit on that account anyway).
