[Pre Order] Gaming PC R7-7800X3D, RTX 4080 Super, 240mm LC, B650M WiFi, 32GB RAM, Pano Case, 3 Free Games $2688 + Del @ TechFast

7800X3D-4080S-AUGV2

Update 11/9: This deals will continue to run, but Ryzen 7 7800X3D builds are now marked as pre-order due to market-wide chip shortages. They will ship as soon as possible - current ETA start of October.

Hi folks, we've listened to the feedback from the Ozb community on aesthetic and performance, and have built it into this new RTX 4080 Super rig, for an all-time high value offering. The 7800X3D and 4080 Super is the ultimate gaming combo, and we've swapped in the Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi mobo, put it in the MSI MAG Pano 270 degree glass tank style case Antec CX500M ARGB panoramic case (updated 26/08) with a 240mm liquid cooler, for $2688.

Plus this PC qualifies for THREE FREE (THFREE? FTHREE?) games - Star Wars Outlaws for the GPU, and Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 (can't believe it took so long to make a sequel!) and Unknown 9: Awakening for the CPU.

Dispatch times: Our order queue is completely clear so there's never been a better time to jump on. To address some of the feedback from last deal, even in our busiest times the vast majority of systems ship inside the 5-10 business day window we quote, but there have definitely been those that don't, and I would never try to shout down customers who share their experiences to the contrary. Instead have poured our efforts into focusing on solutions - we've made some tweaks to the way we operate to ensure our dispatch times hold even closer, including smaller quantity deal runs, pushing suppliers and distributors even harder to make sure they're holding up their ends of the bargain, and onboarding more builders.

Deepcool primarily on hand as of now

Why don't you list the model in that then?

  • +7

No 4090 Deal in ages, been waiting for ever

    • +1

@luketechfast hey mate any 4090 deal coming? Thanks in advance.

  • how much for the exact same without the gpu? would i be able to run my 1070 in it for a while?

    • +5

Only your 1070 can answer that…

    • You could sub out the GPU for your 1070 for sure, but we can only provide the complete system.

      • +6

ok great ill keep the 4070 in storage

        • +3

What's the point of using the 1070 over the 4070?

          • +13

@Circly: Some weird sense of nostalgia running games at low fps

          • @Circly: It's sarcasm

          • +1

@Circly: He'd be accruing funds . Staggered purchasing. Good way to get what you want

          • @Circly: No reason if downgrading to 1070, but if you have something like a 3080, it makes complete sense to use that instead, and then sell the GPU or re-use it in some server environment where every watt actually counts.

            • @FujinShu: He has a 1070. And wants to upgrade his base rig. The. Down the track buy a better vid card.

        • +8

          What 4070?

        • +1

          Why though?

    • -8

I can still play virtually all games with my 1070 at high settings. Unless you really need bleeding edge there's not much need to upgrade.

      • +7

        Maybe at 480p

    • Yeah it would run. Could low settings game on 1080 till you dropped a 4070ti or better in it FTW.

  • +5

word of warning, you'll be waiting for an eternity for it to arrive

    • +5

Had someone in my family buy from them.

Took them about 4 weeks in total

      • +2

I believe it took mine 31 days to be dispatched

    • +1

I’ve addressed timing in the post - there is no queue at the moment so will be within the 5-10 business days.

      • +10

Would highly recommend working on having better transparency on when things get delayed. I had to go out of my way to find out what was going on and when I did I felt like I was getting the run around.

    • +4

A friend has been waiting 3 weeks for one from a rival that advertises here. It's not specific to Techfast.

      • Yes, people are reporting on a technical forum that a well known store has apparently stopped answering emails, so many people are waiting.

        • +2

Extremely specific, thanks for letting us know

          • +1

@OZKap: I was actually alluding to the fact that if you buy a bargain expect a queue.

It was Whirlpool and Scorptec but it could have been any of the popular stores at any given time.

  • +1

@luketechfast can you offer this with the 7900XTX please for better bang for buck ?

This should be at least $200 cheaper and performs better in most games at 1440p and all nearly all games at 4k.

Was hoping you could beat your previous 7900XTX deal maybe sub $2400 ?

    • +1

      rt on or off?

      • on in that video and it wins nearly every time

        • Yeah ok but dlss is off so…why would you have that off if your playing rt

          • @botchie: Ray tracing is a gimic and barely any games support it, dlss3 is worth it I’ll give you that but again only about 40 titles support it, furthermore AMD release driver updates for up to 5 years for every card they release, nvidia support the latest cards for 2 years then any new features are only for their latest card.

            • @sludo: I agree, but if the cards are same price I would still get Nvidia, better for VR, less power, DLSS , hopefully AMD puts better next gen card out.

A large majority of these low level youtube comparison channels are complete bs with faked numbers. All they do is pump out fake comparisons with zero proof they're real. You can only trust reputable sources these days. Here's some better sources:

      https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/rtx-4080-sup…

"Both the RTX 4080 Super and RX 7900 XTX are good cards, but the 4080 Super is simply the better card of the two when we look at the big picture."

"The RTX 4080 Super wins on performance, particularly if you do anything with AI or ray tracing. AMD has a very slight edge in rasterization performance, but even that's not significant enough to really matter. AMD does have a raw VRAM capacity advantage, but the biggest use case for more VRAM — running AI large language models — heavily favors Nvidia GPUs on performance, making it a questionable advantage to be able to run certain workloads at roughly half the speed of Nvidia's GPU. Hardware and software features, plus power efficiency, are also stronger on the RTX 4080 Super."

      https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-rx-7900-xtx.c39…

The relative performance of the 4080 super is 99% compared to the 7900xtx which supports what tom's hardware says about amd having a very slight edge in raster performance.

  • +6

Ooft, I want one but i also need to save monies

    • +7

      Hand over your OzB badge,

      buy now think later…

  • +9

Trying to maintain the rage to wait for 9000x3d and the new mobo's. Deals like this is making it hard!

    • Also in the same boat

    • +2

If you waited this long few more months won't kill you, when new GPU is out this will be $2k max

    • Biggest performance jump will come with the release of the 50 series. I'd probably HODL till then

  • -7

I’ll be purchasing in a few months when the free game is the new call of duty 😁👍🏻

    • That's free on game pass

  • I received my AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor system 3 weeks ago. Am I eligible for the cpu game redemptions?

  • +2

Hi @luketechfast, can there be any upgrade options to the mobo (e.g. X670)?

    Thank you

    • Not in the Pano case as it’s ATX, but yep for the 320R or P20C options

      • Thanks, will wait till that option is added for the 320R case

      • How do you do this? I changed the case out but got the same mobo options.

      • @luketechfast, still waiting for the upgraded mobo option…unless I am missing on how to select it.

  • -2

Would have purchased but your website blocks people travelling overseas. Dumb.

    • +5

We got heavily DDOSed a few weeks ago. Geoblocking is part of the protection for now.

  • +1

exactly the same spec pc i am using. love this combo ! great price too.

  • +4
  • Any chance I can swap the 4080s out for a 4070tis to lower the cost? Very happy with rest of the spec.

  • +4

Coming up to 5 years now with my TechFast PC. Has lasted well

  • Hey Luke, is it possible to upgrade certain components and for me to pay the difference? I was hoping to get the Gigabyte Aorus Elite AX mobo, 1000w PSU (for future GPU upgrade), and a CL30 RAM (rather than CL38). I know it’s abit picky, but I’ve done my research and was going to build something like this! Thanks 😊

    • This. Would also love an air cooling option.

    • Totally understand the desire, just not our business model unfortunately.

      • All good. Thanks anyway!

  • +3

Looks pretty good except for the motherboard, which was the worst performer in the recent hardware unboxed b650 roundup (throttles a 7950x by 35% in sustained loads). The review used the gaming wifi but the gaming plus wifi uses the same power delivery components.

Is there any chance to swap out the board for something that would support higher-power CPU upgrades in the future without throttling?

    • As above - definitely understand the request, but not our model.

  • Looking for a compuer to run MSFlt sim. How would this fare particularly with all graphics settings up high?
Would i need more than 32GB Ram
    Thanks

  • Hello, I'm a little unsure of something. The mobo comes with wifi inbuilt right? I dont need to buy anything under the Netork tab on the site? Thanks

    • Yep this has in built wifi on the mobo

  • If you pick the white case, are all the inside components also white based?

    • +1

This will only affect the case, we don't designate specific color parts

  • Hi Luke!

Is the 850W power supply the same brand and model as 750W?

    • 850 we're using is from MSI at the moment actually

      • Thanks for the reply.

Do you also have 32gb ram with rgb and also pny xlr8 4080 super?

  • Lately there is a promotion that if you buy any RTX 4070 or above level you can get the Black Myth: Wukong game for free. Does that game include in this deal?

  • Hi what is the exact brand of this 4080 super, thanks

    • They say PNY in the advertisement. Mine was PNY.

  • Hi Luke.

I have 3 SSD's and one HDD, can i plug this in?

  • Anyone have their order ship in the 5-10 business days? I've had like 4 status update emails but the account page still says status: order placed.

    • same here mate, nothing in my account has changed

      • Mine changed to 'being picked' this morning on day 6 so I am hopeful that it'll ship by the end of the week.

  • +1

Luke a bit misleading mate, you mentioned 5-10 business days. After 5 days i got an SMS saying that I am now eligible for the 5-10 business days. Thats basically 3 weeks mate

    • If it's anything like my order, that means "you are now in the 5-10 business day window" - i.e. 5 days has passed since you placed the order, placing you in the 5-10 day window. So really, it should be at most 5 more business days.

    • When did you place your order? has it arrived yet?

  • Anybody know which 850W PSU they use ?

How bad is it to have the GPU installed and shipped as opposed to separately ?

  • I've got a 11600KF, 3070, 32GB RAM.

    Should I upgrade?

  • If I buy this PC, how can I redeem the free game (as mentioned Star Wars Outlaws for the GPU, and Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 and Unknown 9: Awakening for the CPU)?

    • A guide on how to redeem would be supplied with the order

  • Hi @techfast @luketechfast,

Can you please tell me how I can view this product, spec it up and possibly preorder?

Clicking on the Go to Deal and AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RTX 4080 Super Gaming PC V2! links above takes me to the Techfast home page, even though the URL looks correct. The only 7800X3D / 4080S system listed is $4,499.00 $3,499.00, save $1,000. Taking Win11 out takes it down to $3,379.00.

The only difference I can see in the parts list is a 2TB Gen 4 NVMe vs the 1TB Gen 4 NVMe in the specs above. But that doesn't account for the $500-$700 difference from the advertised price (depending on whether the OZB code is used).

  • This pc is now setup in my room. It is by far the most noisiest pc i have owned. My room sounds like sydney airport when just doing basic tasks

    Any tips?

    • Fixed by replacing the AIO fans and rear fan with noctua 12. Whisper quiet
