Question, my car has a USB up by the rearview mirror, will that be able to power this until I can get the hardwire kit installed?
Yeah, will be OK to power it but you might need your own cable as your car might only provide USB-C by the mirror. It is exactly what this plug by the mirror is for.
Bought this was great unfortunately the parking mode turns off after 1 minute and 30 seconds I believe the battery voltage goes lower or something on power mode, now I have to get it looked at again by a mechanic such a pain. Installation cost me about 185 here in Melbourne. My car battery is new a couple of months old it is varta d15 silver top. Camera is amazing tho, clear even at night can read plates very well. Well worth the price
Either change the voltage setting on the hardwire box to a lower value or do longer drives. If you are doing short trips, it doesn't charge the battery enough.
Thank you I've tried to change all setting I think the wiring on the fuse box is the problem.
What car do you have? You should take it back, they might’ve used the wrong fuse, sounds like a fuse that switches off after a certain period (eg 1min 30s).

It would probably work fine but it will fail quicker than the Max Endurance. Continuous recording especially at 4K res demands durability.
And it doesn’t have to be 256GB btw. I’m using 128GB Max Endurance on A229Pro 2CH and so far never had an issue though YMMV
Good to hear. I have a 128gb max endurance from my old car. I'll use that, just thought the capacity might be an issue at the higher resolution
I use Max endurance on mine 256gb works perfectly so far, have had the camera for close to 3 months
