I was looking for an SD Card for my DJI Action and found this deal — not the cheapest according to camel3, but not a bad deal with price beat via Officeworks.

Now where are the viofo 229 pro sales?!?!

Just a heads up for anyone that might be using them in cameras. I've tested these cards in Sony (A6700, A7IV, A1) and Canon (R6ii) cameras and they are no faster in those cameras than the Samsung EVO Plus. Probably because they rely on proprietary protocols to achieve the advertised speeds, though will still be faster for offloading pics provided that you use a supported card reader.

    • Some tests showed the Samsung has faster read/write. My real world experience is the SanDisk is noticeably faster at formatting in camera.

    • Yeah I tested similar cards on the A7IV and was left unimpressed. Granted the A7IV don't have deep buffers, it looks like I will need to go down the path of expensive CF express Type A cards.

  • Crrently running 128gb card in my RP4. would love to update to 512gb for more storage. But will wait for prices to go down

    • I've been eyeing the SAMSUNG EVO Plus 512GB (2021 version). Would be a great addition to my Xiaoxin Pad Pro tablet.

Currently $66 at Amazon. Umart has it for $58. Waiting for it to go down to $40, hopefully.

  • Can it be used for DJI action 4?

    • yes

  • Does any one knows is there any portable ssd hard drive on sales?or a good deal?

    • Nope, still much cheaper to build your own.

  • $78.71 ????

    • 21/8 update: Price went up to $78.49 @ Amazon AU (Price Beat $74.57 @ Officeworks)

  • Thanks for sharing. Definitely recommend this one as well as easy and lazy expandable storage for PC handhelds. F for Nintendo switch it’s not required as slower SD cards will do just fine.

  • Out of stock
