    Thanks OP.

Thanks Doordash for doing a much better job than CBA Yello considering the amount of profit CBA is making and keeping.

    • I'm not understanding what you're talking about?

Are you not getting Yello offers

I have over $200 in cashback over the last year.

      • Yes I am not getting Yello deals, as also reported by others in Yello deals. CBA Yello appears to be quite strict when it comes to giving out deals to targeted people considering the billions in profit they are making and keeping, unlike others like Woollies, David Jones, Uber One, Menulog, Shopback/Westpac who’s somewhat doing a decent job which helps with cost of living.

        • but greed…. is good.

"Quite strict when it comes to giving out deals"

This pretty much sums up DoorDash in a nutshell… cannot remember the last time I had a great deal out of them.
I'm also in the same boat as you I haven't even had good Yello offers either.

Sick of this "targeted" garbage that's plaguing everything these days.

          • @RocketToSpace: I am unsure what you mean bro. Yesterday’s DDs GYG and today’s DDs Italian deals were dope, where I think everyone got targeted but limited to a number of redemptions.

            • @ilovefullprice: It's not the first time DoorDash has done this campaign. Several months ago they did this and back then it felt like it was targeted. I remember me and several other people commenting on here over it on how we barely received these deals. For me last time I got 1 deal then it took a couple more days to receive the next deal and it was like this for several other people. DoorDash LOVES doing targeting coupons where only a small portion of users will receive deals while most don't.

Sure the deals are great. Back when this launched the best one was the Red Rooster fried chicken deals.

              • @RocketToSpace: My experience have been different where I got ALL the DD deals, but these deals are limited to a max number of redemptions so you need to be quick and not wait too long.

Also if the banner or deal doesn’t show up in the app, you can just enter the promo code manually in the app.

Further, did you not get all the more recent DD deals like GYG, Grill’d, Italian etc?

  • Interesting, my local Grill’d is only on Uber Eats and not DD.

Your account is not eligible for this promotion.

    • Me too, tried 2 different stores

Can't select pickup so with delivery and service it's back to the original price of 2 anyway :(

  • Thanks got gyg for today ;)

  • Thanks op, turns out to be $13 per burger after the delivery fee etc.
    Nice stuff.

  • 11.50 delivery fee kills this deal.

    • Wow never seen a delivery fee they high.

Dashpass free delivery, 30 day trial or $9.99 for 1 month if you think you will use it again over the next 30 days. Sometimes they give you an offer for $4.99 when you click on dashpass.

  • Yeah, I got the $5 offer but a Mighty Melb cost $19.50.

    • 2x MM - $39
    • Delivery ($0) (but $5 to sign up) - $5
    • Service fee - $4.68
    • Discount - (-)19.50

    Proposed total: $29.17

    Meh.

  • thanks OP for taking the time in posting this deal.

I think deals like this really highlights the pure insanity of marketers decisions for making profit in a time when cost of living concerns are at crisis levels.

For an above average burger joint to offer 2 for the price of 1 is OK if you can handle 2 or share with a friend, but to fridge the other 1 for later consumption on a product that should be eaten freshly made? Buy in bulk items such as toilet paper, sure, but above average burgers?

I think half priced burgers would be a bigger success for them. Some people already struggle paying for standard 'cheap' fast food burger prices

Delivery services - I've had mixed experiences so prefer to physically go get food myself, even dine in. I understand that my payment is suppose to employ someone else to deliver it to me, which maybe good for the economy, for now, but in the long term it's a pitfall

The impression I get from this deal is 2 mildly warm above average burgers for the price of 2+ cheap n nasty but potentially hot burgers at a drive thru myself, in which case I would probably order less in the drive thru.

Who knows, maybe you get an extra surprise in the order, shrinkflation.

Sorry for the rant, in short I think Grilld would have better success with half priced burger promotions, but that's just me.

  • I'm 4km away from the store, but it says "This address is out of the delivery area for this store."
Annoyed. No deal for me. :(

    Wish I could do C&C.

  • For WA, the service and delivery fee adds $7.67 to the overall order. Its still a discount

  • NO GRILLD ON MY DOORDASH

  • Would only allow me to use this once :(
