Bought this last time it was posted
    Easy setup
    Minimal functions
The range on this product is shocking
And good luck getting your sonos to connect to it

      shocking as bad or good?

      • I would assume bad when used in this context.

      • Bad

        • Mine are set up 10m away from each other - work great. Not sure what the issue is here - these things are faultless?

          • @dogzilla: My house is all double brick, 2 levels, I need one right under the stairs and right above the stairs to get good connection

  • Great device. Setup was a breeze and performing perfectly. Can’t comment on range as it’s setup in a 1 bedroom apartment. Even at $375, I think it’s a bargain.

  • How does this compare to the eero lineup?

    • +1

Very similar. I prefer eero app and range is a little better off one unit.

      • Thanks. sounds like eero it is then!

I bought a 3 pack of these from Amazon US about 6 months ago. Had an old Asus AI mesh network that needed upgrading, and since I have Nest cams I thought I'd go deeper into the Google ecosystem.

Setup was great. Coverage/range was extremely disappointing. After trying a bunch of options to fix it, they went back in the box and I got a refund.

I really wanted to like them, but if you have a big area to cover, or lots of walls and obstacles, look elsewhere.

    • Can confirm, my cousin also had range problems in a 3 bedroom double brick unit. Ironically, the nodes do not like being far away from each other so I’m not sure it can be labelled as a mesh router if it’s going to perform the same as a standalone router.
