I shared my experience below, hope it helps you make an informed decision

Basically no - I find it fine for low torque applications, e.g. building PCs (with a long phillips head bit / extension). For anything that requires torque, e.g. screwing into wood, this will either just stall or will take even longer than doing it by hand.

You're better off buying a high quality screwdriver set if you want something more practical.

      • Ok thanks pass. Will keep using the Bosch

Mine lasted for around 2 years, now the battery is low in voltage, but because of the way it was constructed its is a real hassle to replace the battery inside it, it will require desoldering the thick core voltage cables to then slide the battery compartment out. Plus one annoying thing is you cannot control the speed, it only has one level, On. Plus even when it was new it would have trouble with some really tight screws.

Its really hard to recommend it.

    • Thank you. I will look for an alternative.

    • In the country where XIAOMI manufacturers, people almost have a common sense that repairing a small tool of XIAOMI costs nearly half or more of its original price, and Its service life tends not to be very long cause it's really not expensive. When it cant work, just replace it with a new model. haha

  • I bought something that looks like this from Coles few months back for $5 got a few of them

  • Is it supposed to be a smart screwdriver made by xiaomi? You probably can use a phone to remotely control it. Lol

  • Just had a email saying "We regret to inform you that there is no suitable shipping method to ship the item in your order to your country due to some shipping regulations of the logistics company". I used the HK warehouse as specified. Have to go for a refund. Shame, as I have a few decent uses for this.

  • I've had mine for 3+yrs and still going strong. Really happy with. Lives in my work bag
